yep. going to use corrado rear arches and weld them on :) see....I wasnt lying when I said that the estate was mostly corrado :)

Nice to see another Rado getting sorted. Mines just in to have the head gasket done also. It was slowly going before the charger went on and the charger just speeded it up. I didnt want to risk it going completly bang so I put it in as soon as I could. Im also getting a new belt put on as when the charger went on we didnt realise it was rubbing on the fuel rail and the belt became worn - hence the belt slip. Having said that, the figure I got from him with the belt slip and the head gasket going and (as we found out ) the chain tensioner being fooked were fab. He was running at 284bhp and 261.7 lbft which Id say wasnt bad. I havent got a vortech though Ive got a stage 2 Z-engineering. When I had it mapped Wayne at chipwizards set it up, allowing for the belt slip, so all I need to do is put the new belt on. He reckoned it would be around the 300bhp mark when it went on. My rado should be back tomorrow, if not saturday so I'll soon have it on another power run to see what the finished result is. Sorry, didnt mean to go on. Great to see so much work having gone into another rado. Well done

Mine is in at the moment getting the head gasket done. They checked the chain tensioner out which had died so its getting replaced. Get them to check the chains and the test the head while they are at it, as mine did and they were spot on :) I also asked them to check the clutch which was about half way through its life - prob got another 20 or 30k left. Regarding places in bristol I wouldnt have a clue, sorry.

yeh it has always been like this. ive basically rebuilt my corrado and ive never got round to sorting this problem. just remember to take the seatbelt off the handle before you close the bonnet otherwise it wont lock

Hook the drivers seat belt round the bonnet release pull handle then go to the bonnet and lift it up. Push the catch in and open the bonnet. (You can tell this is how I open mine everytime )

...so the garage guy gets a call from the dealership this morning "yes we have the chain tensioner here but it arrived after our delivery driver went out" !!!!! ARGH! My garage man is stuck at the garage as his partner has taken the jeep on another job and doesnt know when he will be back! :( So....Ive sent my other half down there to pick the part up and take it to the garage. On top of that I STIL havent received the cheque from bromley dealers for the credit for all the parts they got wrong! Apparently they did send it out tuesday. He said if I dont get it tomorrow then to call them and they'll cancel it and issue another......hmm.....do I actually believe them?

Im afraid not. I lost loads of numbers in my phone book when I swapped phones :(

We are definitely up for hop farm. Will come this saturday if my car is back by then. Most probably come to the 14/15th July one too.

I know I know. Why didnt I just go to the sevenoaks one! They have never got an order wrong and as you they say are polite and give you discount. Yep we will deffo be up for the meets! We are showing peanuts estate off again at the bluewater meet tonight. Just let us know when and where. Maybe the dealers would have actually sent the parts through by then! Ah come on....Race me.....I'll let you have a head start ;) :)
