GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After all the other stuff and the garage guy finding out they gave me the wrong head bolts another branch of dealership have fecked up again!!!!!!!!! They told the garage guy that the chain tensioner would be with him this morning. guess what...it didnt turn up!!!! He called them and they said they dont have it. They should get it tomorrow and it should be with him tomorrow too! Would they actually have bothered telling him if he didnt call up?! so Zed is now taking up one of his ramps and has no engine or box in him! Poor Guy. There is nothing we can do but wait for the stealership AGAIN!!!!!!!! Im getting rather pissed off with them now. Also the cheque they were supposed to be sending me regarding the first lot of items they got wrong......well I got a message on my answermachine saying that it is waiting there for me to collect! ER WHY?! I told them on friday that I wanted them to send that cheque and then when I get the bolts when I pick Zed up ill take that in for another refund. The guy says "oh, I understood differently" How?! I went through it with you you fucktard and asked if that was possible! I GIVE UP! I JUST WANT ZED's PARTS TO TURN UP SO I CAN BRING HIM HOME!!!!!!

Need to look through the receipts. generally if there is full history and receipts for everything then 148k isnt a problem.

Depends what tyres you have. The 205s on mine are Avon zz3s and I rate them highly! The handling is fantastic! Ive got toyo T1Rs on the fornts, the 7.5s Not to mention I like the stretched look :)

Im not selling up I just wanted to know how much people would buy it for. By the way CazzaVR the head and chains were checked today.....they are still going strong and are spot on. They are originals! :) Just thought you may want to know.

A Low mileage corrado does not necessarily mean its in better condition than mine. Depends on how the owners have treated it. Id prefer to buy a higher mileage one with full history and know the owner treated it right than a low mileage one with none yeh I know I asked. Thats just my opinion on buying a car.4k up is a good price. Anyone else?

it went on last year. It had done 8k i think when I got it. Nope, my engine is totally standard until its recent garage vist where it is having the head gasket replaced and the chain tensioner. My engine is a very strong one though :) Just depends what state your engine is in really at the time you fit it. If mine wasnt as strong as it is/was I wouldnt have put the charger on. Having said that I knew the gasket was slowly going, the charger just made it go a bit quicker. But I didnt want to wait for it to completley go bang before I fixed it.

what price would you guys and gals expect to see my corrado advertisied for if it was for sale? I bought it as a cat d - it had needed a new slam panel, wing, headlight, bumper, bonnet was repaired (but ive since put a brand new bonnet on)...all cosmetic but all sorted. PVW is a different story though, i cant remember if it was the editor or someone else to do with the mag but he owns a number of VW's and has just picked up probably the most mint mk1 ever, as seen in this (or last cant remember) months PVW. indeed

Ive got 195/45/16 toyo T1R's on the fronts (the 7.5s) and 205/40/16 Avon ZZ3's on the rears (the 9s) It handles fantastically on these (plus the tread patterns are the same :oops: )

It's so irritating and frustrating as I expect there are many of us out there that never trust anyone to do the work on our cars but there is always that one time when you just have no choice and something goes wrong :(

thats horrendous! I cant believe someone would do that! i had one of my tt comps kerbed by a mechanic once when I had them. All I got was £50 off the bill. Makes me so angry! The worrying thing is how many people have things done by a garage like this and are not mechanically minded to actually think to look for a problem or notice that something is wrong. Good on you for filing a complaint and I hope you get your money back Did your mate not check the rims when he picked it up?

Looks really good. Had alot of money spent on it. Rebuild done by volkspares - I wouldnt take my corrado anywhere but there where I lived before. The only thing Id say to look at is the bodywork really. Just to make sure there is no rust or nasties. Apart from that it looks like a great buy.
