The bottom end is going in tomorrow to get the rings done and should take a day or two. When that comes back just have to put it back together and get an mot as it ran out last saturday. I am aiming for E38 but who knows if it will be done or not. I was originally just going to get the rings done but I thought I might aswell get the head done whilst the engine was in bits anyway :lol:

nope. Those bits are bigger than that and thinner.

I just have to highly recommend and praise Mr Hodson at Hodson Engineering in Weald (between sevenoaks and tonbridge) for rebuilding my vr6 head. He rebuilt my vr6 head for £300 and did it in a few days. I supplied him with valve stem oil seals just becasue we had a spare set. He has been doing his work for 38 years and is fantastic. I know he is on holiday next week for one week so dont call then. He does all the work himself in his shed like unit on Gaza Industrial Estate. Mr Hodson - 01732 463 658

Im having mine done at the moment - It has done 170k. No problems up until recently. Depends completely on the individual corrado.

Well Im clueless. A bit worrying as I dont think I have one of those on my rado :lol:

Im afraid I was just told it fell off.

Can anyone help David Livett in identifying the part that fell off his corrado?

watcha doin? sorry nosey :) Getting new piston rings and the bores honed. Thought at the same time i'd get the head rebuilt, as it has done 180k and it all has to come out anyway, and some general engine bay tidying. Hopefully all in time for E38. If not, at least it will all be sorted :)

erm, we did this.... It is intentional.....honest.
