easy way - wrap a load of tape around the shaft. works a treat. do it with the knob attached on, push the gaitor ring up as far as it will go and tape till your hearts content :)
-
he must have got a puncture - tough break
-
oh add those to the TO GO list asap ;)

-
its all relative - vr6 still feels slow to me :( but its getting there :)
-

someone with a g60 was asking about mine. see my sale thread in classifieds.
-
does the 24v drop in and are there ECU worries? next Q can you just use a 24v head? just curious :)
-
AudioDevelopment (http://www.audiodevelopment.it) handmade italian speakers :) I had the component set and they were excellent so the sub should be as good.
-
a mate is selling a brand new AD 12" sub for STUPID money. £120. his car got nicked and it never saw any use. rrp is like £500
-
the cup is half full eh Jim? :D
-
well the fader will help but for every nick on the fader you are reducing the need to have rear speakers and you still get high freq from the rear. If i was to use 6x9s Id do what you said re the shelf BUT Id set a bandpass of around 100-250Hz this will give some strong midbass input without corrupting the staging. altho Id still rather have a sub and good front comps :)
-
doh didnt spot your link
-

http://web.ukonline.co.uk/gazfives/my_clio_rsi.htm i honestly thought this was a joke for half the page.
-
bah rta - if it sounds good it sounds good ;)
-
ah yes your sub - thats a different story. in that case its a question of which sounds better imo. but with 2 subs the HU switch will set them both out of phase (so still in phase with each other). If going down this route then some experimentation is on the cards to see what works best.
-
should be grand that far apart. running them out of phase would be worse wouldnt it cos the air would just shift side to side in the boot rather than be shoved into the cabin
-
take the 12s - fibreglass sub boxes on each side of the boot moulded in. subs facing each other across the boot. amp in a wedge rack along the back of the seats. its not very original but will look the part. alternatively mount the amp(s) flat on the floor with a false floor covering.
-
they are little neon type ones - nice and bright eeven in daytime :)
