    Quick question about the Cobra - I know the boot and bonnet have sensors to detect if they have been left open when you try and arm the alarm (and bleep accordingly) but if I leave my passenger (not tried driver) door open the alarm locks and arms as if nothing is wrong! Is there meant to be a sensor in the door for that?! will try later for you mate :)

    Ive eibachs on my VR6 and got new top mounts from euro car parts. ten quid each but only one type.

    can recommend the con300 but install is the key. the muppets who done mine took the power off the ciggie lighter feed for the brain so when I accidently fused the ciggie plug the car died :!: other than that tho it was great. saying that the cobra in my C (installed before I got it) has been flawless to date bar blowing its fuse.

    dont they make the other colours from blue? i.e. wrap a blue one in red to get... red.

    FIXED - was an ignition fault of all things!!!!! just pure fluke it happened when we were out. the ignition got stuck and burnt out the starter.

    powerflow do hiflow cats for about £150 fitted. dont think the quality is amazing but if its just for MOT then no biggie. or find one off a scrappy.

    yeah I had the hexes in my old car (many moons ago) but found them a little harsh for my tastes. same with focals and MBQs best speakers Ive ever owned were JL 3ways - never beaten since then

    http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... ts_id=2372 DLS ALWAYS get good reviews. and only £130. speakers are all about personal taste. eg diamond and MBQ are reommended above but arent to my tastes. if you can get to a few ice shops try to demo what you can and go from there :)

    some HUs need the red and yellow swapped. mine defo did (pioneer).

    get yourself a multimeter boss and get it sussed :) only a fiver and a MUST HAVE when dealing with ice.

    ive 3mm spacers and same bolts I had before. wouldnt clear the calipers :(

    to run subs you would really need to have the pod sealed at the right volume. you can use any speaker really as long as it models ok. JL and DD do 6.5" subs - think Id stay clear of zeus

    since getting the angel eyes (nice and bright white) my std lights look like wee (all yellow). so need some nice bright white bulbs - any recommedations? cheers -pablo

    sorry went to the pub instead :( :oops: really need new bulbs now as the yellow p!ss stain look of the OE ones doesnt go well with the eyes. any recommendations for good superwhite bulbs?
