Check your battery voltage,earths conditions if all good. Put a meater on your battery and see what the voltage reading is when you crank the engine it should not drop below 11. Volts

Got up this morning,thought I just give a try engine starts ups and running ok But now l have no ABS light at all, turn the ignition on no abs light start engine no abs light on Has abody had a similar problem

Got a 1993 VW Corrado 2.0 16v Went to get the rear windows tinted today,looking really nice drove to work no problem Drove the Corrado home drives really good with no problem (about 5 miles)stopped outside the house open the garage up try to start will not start. When turn the ignition on no ABS light on dash, The engine cranks very well,when cranking the engine the ABS light comes on the dash Have good spark, have petrol up to the vavle by the air filter have petrol up to the 5th injector.the petrol is fresh.The is no alarm fitted no cut out switch fitted Remove the spake plug ,spark plug dry ,Can hear the fule pump working Have removed the wiring to the ABS pump looking clean Any information will be appreciated

Is anyone using a tracker on the Corrado.Have just got a tracker need a SIM card the go in the tracker What SIM card is best to have,what is the cost (approximately)a month? Will having a tracker bring the insurance down

Just dropped my o/s headlight ,the glass has smashed So l am after a O/S headlight or the glass ****** gutted So if anybody has one they what to sell can please let me know :bonk:

Just wired in the 7 inch flip sereen works ok ,sat nav works well blue tooth works well and the thing turns off when the key removed. The Pearson who fitted the Kenwood wes a butcher had 2 foot of wiring for the radio,The wiring was jammed in behind the radio,found the earth wiring had been cut by the radio cage

Thinking of getting the rear windows tinted on the corrado with is in blue What are the thoughts on tinted window as l have not seen any theards All so fitting a 7" flip screen sat nav CD player ect,tracker and a alarm ,engine cut switch Have not figured out yet about the cut out switch yet.any ideas on this

Hi No manual need to know how the petrol flap , boot lock works it is a vacuum system Has abody removed the vacuum system and fitted a after market system

the central locking on my corrado is hit and miss,may be something simple as vacuum pipe . so has anyone fitted after market central locking kit,alarm.The doors are not a problem as l have fitted a alarm,central locking kit to a Manta.its the boot ,petrol flap which l might have a problem with Is the petrol flap wiring just 2 wires.How is the boot locked/open is a vacuum system same as the doors any information welcome

Hi l have had the corrado for about 2 weeks now Never seen one in Liverpool/ Merseyside/ northwest so is the anybody out thare in the Liverpool/ Merseyside area Are the any meetings in the this area The are a few good classics car meets in and around Liverpool If you need info on the meeting let me know

Had to remove the glove box.The was a bit of a problem removeringthe glove box. l had to remove the 10 disc player from the glove box (stupid placed to put in the glove box Geting moved to the boot) Check on this forum and found this wes normal. Spent 2/3 hours Geting no where So tryed a paint scaraper no joy ,looking around the tool box found a bolster chisel about 4 inchs acoss very solid ,5 minutes and the box was out.Have cut the bottom thingy glove box Hope this helps someone as l have had some help from people on this forum.

Thanks for the information has really helped I have now got the mirrors working. Is it normal for the mirror switch to be push in (gos flush with the plastic trim when the button is push in)the mirrors will not adjust Just like to thank everybody for the help as this is the first Corrado l have I have a few more faults to sort out but for another time

Have removed the mirror glass give the motor a knock and it work in one direction once. The motor in the mirror looks like a sealed motor. Looks like the door cards coming off

Hi O/S and N/S door mirrors not working I have striped the mirror switch ( some one has already cleaned the switch looks all there) Have live feed to 2 wires and a earth on the wiring block to the mirror switch Can the mirrors be removed and put a feed / earth to the mirrors to check if sized Any info welcome

Hi to all I have just got a corrado 2.0 16 value,when driving home the Corrado cut out,engine cranks did not start felt like no petrol,did restart after 2 minutes.l have MAF 1 showing on the left side of the dash. Dos this require a MAP sensor. Any help will be appreciated as only had a week and got grief :bonk: And where adout is the sensor.thanks Sorry �� but l got all wrong silly me. Had a long day Disregard the top bit (ALL BUT THE RUNNING FAULT) I am showing MFA 1 on the on the lower left side on dash Can abody give me some information on this E.G. Will cause a running fault? Is this a fault code showing on the instment panal I AM THICK AS A PLANK I HAVE FOUND OUT WHAT MFA IS I THINK. BUT I HAVE JUST GOT THE CORRADO. BUT STILL HAVE A RUNNIG FAULT.
