Have replaced the clutch master clylinder when I have the o/s lower trim l thought l will have a check on the brake padel position sensor (no faults on ABS just what to check) Where about is the Brake padel position sensor and what does it look like

Hi l am after the fuel pump that is inside the fuel tank I am in Liverpool so must be happy to post to Liverpool Cheers

Thanks for the reply much appreciated The is a new pump under the car by the fuel filter (fitted by the previous owner) This cutting out and worn gear linkage is the only thing that stops the Corrado being % Will remove the tank unit and check,is the a filter inside the tank ?

Is the primer pump in the fuel tank The new pump is under the car by the fuel pump(roughly about the same size as the fuel filter) the buzzing is quite loud more so when 6/7 miles covered Where about is the low pressure pump Is the 3 fuel pumps fitted?? What is the best Haynes manual to get to expand the fuel system and gear linkage

Mine snapped so removed it and found no difference in opening the boot

Had the 2.0 16 V Corrado in work to day to check on the oil leak (replaced the sump gasket) No leaks. When on the ramp fuel pump stops,engine cut out. Turn the key the fuel pump priming,crank the engine none start Crank the engine 4/5 times engine runs lumpy then clears and runs ok Has got a NEW FUEL PUMP AND FILTER FITTED.the fuel pump is very noisy (Buzzing sound) The ing barrel is working the lights on dash,radio ect Can be alright then all gos wrong.can not check for live feed to the pump as very erratic I am thinking pump ??? What's the thing that's next to the pump just to the right when looking up at the pump Any information welcome

Was look at Corrados on eBay in one ad it says that it has 2 fuel filters replaced Have found one filter (new), can't find a second filter Has a 1993 VW Corrado 2.0 16V 2 fuel filters ,If so where about it is :bonk:

If the lower gear level cover is pulled up l can see a white bush on the bottom of the lever which is has xs play,I have got a gear linkage kit from eBay

Have got some xs play in the gear linkage,got a gear linkage bush kit ( from eBay) What's the best way to replace the gear linkage bushs, not looking forward to carrying out this job

Charge the battery get a reading 30 minutes after charging,Check the voltage the next morning and see what voltage readings The battery should be about 12.80 volt after charging If the voltage is below 12 voltage the battery is dead

Have you got any front fog lights for a 1993 Corrado,of so what is the cost posted to Liverpool cheers Wayne

Have got a after market steering wheel it says "removed spline bush from top of steering column" Looks like the outer spline it fitted to the column do l need a puller to remove this outer spline ,or will it not come off Cheers gents

Also the will be a clutch master clylinder,but will be binned by end of October

The previous owner had replaced the top mounts ( don't now the maker)the lower suspension arms have all been replaced

Having replaced all the brake calipers on my vw corrado 1993 2.0 16 V the ones that have been removed are up free to anyone coming to collect them from Liverpool area

Work it out

Just got some new adjustable coilovers Do the original top mounts have to to use on the fronts (have new front top suspension mounts) Are the rears a just a bolt on job Only replacing because they are possible 24 years old

No longer for sale Replacing front calipers,rear calipers,brake hoses,gear linkage bush kit,clutch master clylinder,engine mounts,also fitting coilovers all round.will be doing all this over the winter.May be for sale in the spring next year
