Interested? They will work with all Momo/Sparco and Raid/Nardi type steering wheels. Available in regular lenth and short version to work with the quick release. THE HUBS WILL ONLY FIT 1990 AND UP CARS WITH THE LARGER SPLINE. I also have quick releases Steering wheel off... I'm also working on a billet aluminum"neck" piece that comes out of the top of the radiator.

I have both the low temp fan switch and the low temp thermostat...and they work great to keep the engine temps down...especially during summer with the A/C on. It also lowered my oil temps. Its one of the best mods under 50 dollars.

Its confusing, because people on this board are quoting flywheel number and the people from the states are quoting the numbers at the wheels. So sometimes we're talking completely different numbers.

Glad you guys made it out safe. :flower: -
When you guys say BHP, do you mean at the engine? In the states, we ususally measure at the wheels. Some of the numbers seem high. Are they corrected numbers to the engine?
-
The most I've seen a 3.0 do here in the states is 190 to the wheels, but that was with a stock manifold.
-
Wow! First 8v Corrado I've ever seen!

The wheel size seems to be a touchy matter. I the defense of the guys that do run the wider wheels is that "handling" is not a concern for these guys. All the work that goes into these cars are for show. How many cars built for handling have a 200 pound stereo setup in the rear. I didn't build my car for show or for race...I built it for me. If they wanted to, with the time and money spent on the cars for show...they could have built themselves a 300hp road trashing monster, but thats not what they wanted. :)

I know what your saying. To me the wider rear wheels makes the car look more aggressive. I'm sure if the owner was to track the car, he would use another set of wheels...instead of risking ruining a set of expensive wheels. BTW...nice pics Bally!

I don't think there is a set of Corrado tails that "fit" properly. Even the factory lights don't line up 100%. Without people constantly pushing the styling on these cars, the scene would get boring and stale. A concept alot of Americans can't seem to understand.
-
Its because you can only go so far with a Corrado. It you tamper too much with the stock body lines, you'll end up ruining the car. Most people agree that the look above is one of the best for the Corrado. Mine on RS's Sick C from Germany Looks good...no?

I don't know about the UK...but here in the states, the 97 and up VR6's had the larger setup. You can swap it, but you'll have to swap everything...not just the servo. A large task...not worth it for me.
-
 Been like that for a while now.
-
You can use the larger ones from a later model mk3, but you wouls have to change out the whole thing...not just the servo. I have the 312mm setup also. They barely fit behind my old 16in Oettinger Type E's

I have the 2.9 Supersprint Mega. It did not fit right. My muffler shop had to cut and put on new hangers so that the tip was in the center of the bumper cut out.

Used a Japanese spray called Dia-Wyte.

Removing the battery can sometimes make it easier. Also use some sandpaper to clean the side of the head before putting the thermostat housing back on.

I think the stock VR injectors are like 24lbs. My VF kit came with 30 injectors.
-
True that. Don't clean em...replace em...
-
I'll second that....if you can stomach the £120 odd price. It costs me 100usd at the local dealer...and they are the red ones.

The 1.8T is an awesome motor. I put one in my mk3 Golf. I'm not sure its going to be cheaper than rebuilding a VR. You'll need to use the entire wiring harness out of the 1.8t car. You won't be able to use the VR6 tranny, because the housing will not bolt up. You'll need a G60 housing...that'll bolt up. It cost me about 5000usd after all said and done. That's with all the bolt on parts: Front mount intercooler, Oettinger inlet pipe, Neuspeed downpipe, oil cooler, custom Neuspeed chip, new clutch and some other parts I can't remember right now. Made 180 wheel hp and 200 wheel torque. If you are to use any mk4 tranny you would need a signal converter for the speedo and the rpm sensor...the new trannys use a digital signal.
