    Boot / tailgate

I have a boot lid in Warwick if the other one you found is no good for your needs. It's pretty good shape but with some rust at the bottom of the window.
  2. No judgements made here. Just happy to see another Rado rolling on down the road and the owner having fun. I like the kit overall, and white is always a good colour on a modded car. I love the wheels to. Top job indeed! I'd like to see what it looks like from the rear if you can post some more photos up sometime.
  3. I can't answer all your questions but I do know that the earlier models are 4x100 not sure what year they changed to 5 stud, and the active spoiler is across all models.
  4. Welcome to the club. On my way to check out your magazine now.
  5. Thank you for the info swiftkid. I thought I might struggle but have found some with a little help from a forum member. Cheers.
  6. Someone is going to bag a bargain I think! Very nice motor indeed.
  7. Does any of the other VW models share the same wheel offset as the early 4 stud corrado? Or any other model from other makers would do? Anything compatible will help me broaden my search. Thanks!

    wheels with tires

Yes, it's a huge distance sadly. I shall keep it in mind though as I do travel north for work occasionally. I didn't think I would have much trouble finding an old set of wheels, but I didn't consider the age and rarity of the car concerned. Coupled with the recently gained knowledge that all newer cars are now 5 stud, it could prove to be a little harder than first thought :bonk: Thanks for the reply

    wheels with tires

It's the 4 stud pattern for early corrados. I wasn't aware they'd changed to 5 stud later on. Thanks for letting me know.

    wheels with tires

I need a set of 4 stud pattern wheels with tires to fit a corrado. Some steel wheels would be preferred, or any old knackered alloys as long as they hold air will be fine. Studs included. They will be just used for rolling a car around so the cheaper and nastier the better please. Based in Warwickshire.
  11. I decided a while ago to get active and visit a few shows. I've never heard of this one before and was expecting it to be miles away, but to my utter surprise it is 25 miles down the road! It looks really good and a very reasonable entry fee, I will definitely be attending this year.
  12. Do you know roughly what the power gain is with the stage 4 and pulley/chip upgrade?
  13. I understand what it does. But I am trying to decide if I should do it or not, and if it's worth spending the extra money versus the benefits it gives. Was hoping to hear some advice from people who have had theirs done. Thanks for the reply
  14. I have a G-lader that I'd like to send off for a rebuild. The history is a little uncertain but there is a chance it has never been rebuilt before. I am wondering if I should pay the extra for the stage 4 rebuild and have the porting work done. Ideally the stage 4 upgrade is to be run with the smaller pulley setup, but I am being told that it is still a worthy upgrade if I use the standard pulley as planned. Any advice and opinions would be very helpful for me?
  15. Look forward to seeing this on the road... MK1's where my first love and introduction to the world of VW. I have the front Hella twin grill, front and rear lip spoilers and a set of Boge lowered gas shocks. They are tasteful mods that just help to make the car look a little more aggressive without turning it into a boy racer machine. Good luck with the restoration. If the parts are of any use give me a shout.
  16. An opportunity to get my rado back on the road has a risen and last night it occurred to me that the wheels off this car would be ideal for mine. If the car was legit I could get what I needed and recoup my money from reselling the rest. I rang him this morning and it was indeed genuine. He sold it a few weeks for a measly 1200 quid! I've been kicking myself for the last few hours. It was well worth it at that money!
  17. It's resurfaced on Gumtree again. https://www.gumtree.com/p/volkswagen/vw-corrado-2.0-16v-manual-low-mileage-/1279970616 I'm curios and might ring later and see what type of character is on the other end of the line. Maybe the fleabay buyer pulled out, or something fishy is going on.
  18. can you upload some pictures and a bit more info of your car please?
  19. I read that the EU parliament has designer shops inside it and the MEP's get £3000 per month expenses to blow on what they want. Travelling expenses and accommodation are not included and claimed separately. It doesn't stop there either. The list of benefits these people can claim is disgusting. I believe the severance payment on leaving can be up to £150,000. Not to mention the £80,000 per annum salary. £12,000 per annum paid into their personal pension plan. There's more, but I forget now. The gravy train is far to sweet to let the destruction of Europe and peoples lives play on their conscience! The sooner they are all consigned to the dustbin the better IMO.
  20. This car sold on ebay auction 3rd of December for £1500 I was tempted with it until I noticed it was a brand new seller with no feedback. Not sure if it was legit but cheap enough if it was. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vw-Corrado-2-0-16v-Manual-Low-Mileage-Leather-Interior-Not-VR6-G60-Modified-/173004510988?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D49480%26meid%3Dbeb5f576027c42cfbd06b8c6d3bd0383%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D122786664393&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=8fF0BeRCU6LhcP8coimaQBn16TU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  21. Congrats on the purchase. Fulfilling a dream is a great moment. Please don't over look the awesomeness of the G60. It is more "Corrado" than the VR6 (in my opinion) :thumbleft:
  22. Saw it yesterday and it wasn't in the greatest of conditions sadly. I was planning on buying it for resale to recoup some money for fuel while collecting a bunch of other parts. The deal turned out to be really sweet for the other stuff so I drove home happy in the end. Thanks for the reply :thumbleft:
  23. I have the chance to buy a used Scorpion stainless (decat) system. It is supposedly 4 years old and from the photos does seem in decent condition. (G60 Version) I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what a fair second hand price to pay would be? Thanks!
  24. B*ll*x I've avoided revealing myself to the outside world ever since it's creation (facebook), and now I may have to reconsider  It's definitely worth waiting for something like this. 5 miles away as well is a real result. Enjoy Buddy!
  25. Thanks Simeon :thumbleft: It's the right money for the purpose so may be a good option. I will get mine removed first just to make sure they match.
