  1. if youve got some big quality shots of the interior jim that would be awesome.
  2. the golf and polo ones are a differnt angle. i shall be keeping an eye out for a recaro interior then lee ;)
  3. i didnt think corrado recaros had bolt on subframes? thought they were welded? happy to be corrected....
  4. sounds like a plan....would need a whole late interior anyway as id want to sell my leather on rather than butcher it/retrim. shall consult the wallet faries.....
  5. hmmmm...interesting. from what i can work out they used to list corrado frames....but they dissapear off the list sometime in 1997.
  6. ive got my beady little eye on some new recaros....but it would seam that recaro dont make a subframe for the corrado. anyone got any sensible suggestions? (using a nail gun/chewing gum/bolting them to the floor or wedging them in with a bit of wood dont counmt as sensible ;))
  7. if its still about.......then im interested....if its been crushed then hes a bit of a winky....
  8. what happened to it in the end?? did he sell or has he still got it?
  9. im just having my head done as part of the chains/clutch fiasco....cos its on its way out.... gasket and all the bolts from vw is about £120+ vat retail. then depends if you decide to change manifold gaskets and stuff too.....can turn into a quite parts intensive job depending on how anal you are.
  10. i bought a brand new one from vw the other week...all new and fresh, with indate contents.... 000093055K £17.02 plus vat retail.
  11. ive tracked the rigth one down second hand.....is it worth paying £150 to have it fully reconditioned.......might be worthwhile in the long run...
  12. yeah...but vw wont sell you the valve block on its own. i get what your saying though...the ones on ebay are advertised as abs pumps. £1000 + vat from vw.....eek.
  13. right.....so all corrado vr6's and golf vr6 after 1994. just need to track one down now...
  14. thats exactly how mine is behaving JS. does anyone know if i have edl or not?
  15. ok, its been superceded by 1h2 614 117A without edl, or 1h2 614 217A with edl.
  16. weird one roger, etka doesnt even recognise that as a valid part code....
  17. thats one of them :) the p/n is 1H2 614 117A which fortunately is common on alot of mk3 chassis stuff....otherwise it would be a £800 from the stealers
  18. yes, recurring faults. could it be down to nasty old brake fluid?
  19. its the thing on the right isnt it?
  20. the valve block would be the thing under the bonnet with lots of pipes going to it? and it was leftrear, right rear, front left......
  21. ok, vagcom came back with faults refering to "valves" in the abs unit. take it that i need a new one then :|
