I did almost the same thing, I've ordered a new lowered suspension and the meaning was that you have to use parts of the original suspension tot mount the lowered suspension. So I've made a list with ETKA of parts that I need to mount the new suspension. I've got an complete new suspension under the car and it drives very well.

If the car is made before 10/89, you've got 2 pumps, one in the tank and one under the car where the fuel filter is mounted. After 10/89 you've got one pump and is mounted in the tank. The easy way to find out what kind of system you have is looking under the car.

The losses in my transmission is 31bhp, to many I think. I hope that this wil be better with the 16v AGC gearbox is stead of het standard G60 ATB.

Also have a 60mm lowered suspension and it looks great, the wheels never toucht the chassis or other parts of the car. The tires are 195/40/17 big and it looks like this.

RotorDiscs brake discs, good or bad material???
Dennis.be replied to Dennis.be's topic in Drivetrain
So I better choose for normal grooved brakes if I follow the reactions on this topic. It's hard to find a good solution, there are so many discs that has almost the same quality and looks. Maybe I go take a look for the Até powerdiscs, Brembo MAX or even Black diamond discs. Anyway, thanks for the reactions. -
I've also has a Weitec suspension, and I'm very happy with this set. But I also has an Eibach anti roll set under de car and he reacts very direct by cornering. i've got the 60/60 version of de Ultra GT series, its a little bit low in front with 195/40/17 tires, so I have to make more place for them.

RotorDiscs brake discs, good or bad material???
Dennis.be replied to Dennis.be's topic in Drivetrain
So they not as good as they looks like? How about Aré powerdiscs? Strange, those type of brakes are very popular on Techno Bikes or Street Fighters. -
How you guy's think of this brake discs? Should they brake as good as it looks? http://www.rotordiscs.com/main_page.htm Is this good or bad quality?

Since this weekend I have a custom chip placed for my setup and hopefuly soon another dyno run on the same dyno. The new chip has to bring the torque to 300Nm or above on the same rpm. The chip comes from FH technic, this guy is very well known on the dutch corrado forum for his results on the most VAG engines. http://www.fhtechnic.nl

I have the same mod as shown in this topic. Great mod and cheap. 8)

Idd, should be 2 lights, the fogg lights is standaard only one that works.

These are all the pictures I've got for this moment, I should make another photo-shoot by dark I Geuss... 8) I've got them 2 days and they're already dirty. I should remove those clear taillight, the contrast is to big now, I probably replace them with Red-Black ones and maybe in the future some of the dard one's of In.pro (same as now, but not in chrome).
-
Thanks for the positive comments guys. The wheels are just ordinary 17" BSA Racing and have an ET of 7,5 (I geuss). I chose the Nero's because I had some problems to put the power of the engine on the road and these tires are the best solution (and not the cheapest. Phil K, the colour of my C is Quartz metallic (LD7Y)

I've got my wheels back from te painter and this is how they looks like. The colour is High Gloss Black and the tires are Pirelli P Zero Nero 195/40/17. And this is how they looked before.

I've got a 1990 G60 and I've got an new type of radiator support, I noticed this weekend when fitting an new type of grill and it was plug&play. So i think that all the headlights fits as wel in the old as the new type of C. The only difference is the glass of the headlight, the new one is higher than the old type.

Someone who's working in the tuning industries says me that the taillight of In.pro are made by Hella. Some other products of In.pro has the Hella logo and serial numbers, but only In.pro distribute this products.
-
How about F1 mirrors??? Ik had a picture of a C with some of these mirrors, but I can't find it anymore, and it looked very nice.
-
This is how the taillights looks on my brothers car, geuss what type of engine he has. :D
-
Audi had the same engines, 6A was for Audi te enginetype and also an 2.0 16v.

Catcams has more than 1 cam for the G60, even custom made. I have not exactly an idea what the SAE was, I took the basic run.

What do you think about this dyno? EngSpd : 6665 RPM ECETrq: 271,8CmM @ 3954 RPM ECEPwr : 198,4Chp @ 5872 RPM The spec's of the engine : - RS chip - 68mm pulley - 236°/273 CatCams camshaft - CatCams adjustable cam pulley - 3.5bar fuel pressure regulator - K&N replacement Air-filter - New cilinder head (bigger in & out) - G-lader remanufactured (1.1 Bar) - Remus Exhaust - Green injectors - Smal intercooler They say that I could have more if I had a big intercooler, that's what I already expected.

I've bought myself a Weitec Ultra GT suspension and by opening the box I've found this good looking material. The idea is to revise the complete suspension when placing this springs. I've already made my order form with ETKA, coast should be about 300€ for al the original VW parts that I need.

I's a Kameï spoiler, just as Bally says.

You can place you're numberplate like this.
-
Cams can give more than 2hp, you'll need to place a new management chip that has been written on the setup you're running at. I'm running with a cam also of CatCams, and I'm very happy of the 236/273 cam for my G60.
