  1. No updates yet mate. He still hasnt replied to any of the messages I left him through the forum or any other messages, no phone call, no nothing! I know he has replied to a message that bristolbaron sent him, and apparently the lights were posted on either Friday or Saturday. Ive not recieved anything today, so I just dont know. I'll let you know if anything happens, hopefully sooner rather then later.
  2. Headlights come apart easily mate. Just remove them from the car and undo the grey clips that attach the glass and the headlight case together. Just use a flat headed screwdriver and carefully pop the clips off one by one, the glass will just pull away by hand once the clips are all removed.
  3. If you remove the lower dash you will be able to follow the cable and see it connects to a flap. Its possible the foam backing has come away from the flap and is causing it to stick. :)
  4. You will more then likely have to remove the heater controls and reset the cogs in the correct position. The cogs have probably skipped a few teeth and are not allowing you to turn the knob( :) ) any further. It can be a little fiddly to get them where they need to be, but be patient and you will get there! :)
  5. Thanks for all your help so far everyone. I will be sending a couple of you a PM shortly regarding a few things. Did he send you the tracking number atall yet mate? Im guessing not? If he posted them today or arranged for a courier today then he should have a tracking number to hand. Thanks again. :)
  6. I hope your wrong aswell for his sake. Im not going to hold my breath on seeing them anytime soon either, even though he has said he is going to send them today! That is the third/fourth time that ive heard that. He keeps saying he's busy with work etc.... but its his dad's company he works for and im sure his daddy will let his go to the post office on his lunch break. And he has had enough time to drive 4 hours each way to collect his shed of a car, but no time to post my lights. But still its looking like he's getting the message now that its going to come back to bite him in the ass if he doesnt send them to me soon. :)
  7. Baz fair play for helping me out mate.I really appreciate that. Im in work at the moment so cant edit the details on my original post. I have given Matt plenty of time to reply to my messages and he has totally ignored all my efforts to get hold of him.He has had more then enough time to get back to me, it takes seconds to send a message to make me aware of any problems. We are all busy in life, but im sure he's no busier than me at the moment! Thanks again bud, i'll let you know if they turn up.
  8. Yeah it can really make you feel angry, and the thing thats annoyed me the most is the fact that ive asked my misses to stay at home a few days as I was expecting a package which was never going to arrive! And so its messed not just me around, but her also, and that time could have been used more constructively. Thanks for your support and i will let you know when im heading to see him, but im pretty handy if I need to be! :) ---------- Post added at 10:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:12 PM ---------- Did you sort it out in the end mate? Im hoping it gets sorted before I resort to going to see him face to face, but unless someone else decides to go and get them off him for me then im affraid I will have to fight my own battle. There will only be one winner in the end though, and it wont be him! Cheers bud.
  9. Yes i am currently weighing up my options. Like I said previously, im not going to let him get away without either paying for the lights or giving me a replacement set. Once I get a chance I will drive to his home/work address and confront him. I got 3 days holiday left this year and will probably use one of these days to pay him a visit. It will probably cost me £100 in fuel, and a day that id rather spend with my kids, but i would get great satisfaction out of getting my own back on him! Failing that it will probably go down the route of small claims court action. Cheers for your advice. :)
  10. No worries mate. One way or another I will find a way to get them back, I wont let him get away with it lightly either, trust me. He is obviously not very clever as ive made it quite clear that I have his address, know where he lives, know where he works etc. So he will get a nasty suprise soon enough if he doesnt sort it out before I catch up with him. :)
  11. I would more then happily pay someone to get my lights back for me, i just need someone closer to do it as im a 5 hour drive away. But if I have to then I will drive there myself, and get them back, unfortunatly I dont have a day to spare to get down there! Ive already made plans in my head what I will do to him and his car if I do end up travelling down to see him myself! Im not someone who gives up easily, infact I never give up. :) ---------- Post added at 8:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:25 PM ---------- This is a link for the build on the fiesta he now owns: http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=print&thread=127066 Im not certain, but I think he might of swapped the corrado with the guy who owned the fiesta. And I was going to try and contact the guy who now has the corrado to tell him I still own the headlights and see if he would sort it out his end to get them back to me, but I cant see that happening as he probably doesnt know the situation?
  12. Right I didnt want it to come to this but I just want to make people aware of a recent problem I had with a forum member. On 7th September I posted some standard headlights to 'Medwaycorrado' as he wanted to do a swap with the inpro headlights he had on his car at the time. He recieved them the following day and assured me that he would fit my lights and post the inpros to me the following day. Anyway a week passed and I received nothing, so I sent him a message on the forum to see if he could tell me when I might recieve them and asked him to give me a tracking number for the courier he uses so that I can make sure someone is home to sign for them. So another week passed and I still had no delivery and had not had any replies to my messages to him either! I waited a further week to give him the benefit of the doubt but still nothing. After sending several other messages and not getting any replies I decided to do abit of a search on google to see if I could find a phone number for him, and by luck I found a number for the place he works. The following day I called the number and he answered, I explained that he still needed to post the lights but he again said he had been busy, and will post them that day for definate, I said alright but keep me informed of what day Im likely to have them. Needless to say, I have still not recieved anything. I tried to call the number again but the line just gives an engaged tone! I went back onto google and got his work address again and got his home address(the one I sent my headlights too), I then sent an invoice to both addresses to say he either needs to pay for the lights(£120), or post me the lights that we agreed on within one week, or send my original light back to me! And again I have recieved no reply or payment, nothing. Its now been several weeks and im affraid that he has got what he wanted and im not going to see anything from it. In the mean time I found out that he has sold the corrado with my headlight on it! This is his members thread: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?76362-Alpine-White-16v
  13. The main wiring loom for the instrument cluster connects from the back of the instruments into the back of the fuse board, it might be worth dropping the fuseboard and checking all the large connectors are not loose and in thier correct position. Failing that do you know anyone that you could borrow a working instrument cluster off and try plugging that in to your wiring and see if that functions propely? I cant inagine the stereo would effect anything unless cables were pulled when fitting it and something worked loose ?
  14. Im looking for someone on the forum who lives near to/or knows this guy : http://the-corrado.net/member.php?24500-MedwayCorrado I believe his name is Matthew Abela, and he is from Rochester. Basically I sent him a pair of original corrado headlights, as he was wanting someone with standard lights to do an exchange for his Inpro lights. I sent my lights to him on the 4th of September and have not recieved anything back from him since. I sent him a few PM's and he did reply to one saying he was busy and would send them the next day, but still ive recieved nothing. So im starting to think it looks like ive made a stupid mistake and I will not see the inpro headlights atall! This is the next problem, im currently sorting my 16v corrado ready to sell it, but I need these lights to fit to the car as it currently has no lights! Anyway, if anyone knows him can you please give him a kick up the arse for me and tell him I need the lights posted, or the cash to pay for another set of lights please. His work address is: Unit C6, Laser Quay Medway City Estate ROCHESTER Kent ME2 4HU Ive also gt his home address but I wont post that up yet, hopefully someone can help him see sence and get them posted off, or im affraid I will probably have to pay him a visit sometime soon. Any help appreciated. Cheers. Rob. :)
  15. Put it in storage mate, and when things level off again bring it back to life! But whatever you decide, all the best for you. I'm in a similar position myself but I'm planning to keep mine forever, haha. :)
  16. If I was you I would keep myself busy and keep myself occupied to try and take your mind off it. (maybe packaging my lights and sending them to me will keep you busy for abit, lol. :) ) It will get easier after a couple of weeks mate. :)
  17. Im in need of a working oxygen sensor for my car as I replaced the Cat and the old one wont come out!!! Also need the outer door seal for the passeger side door, and the rear quarter glass with seal for the passenger side also. And finally the complete door seal for the drivers side(the internal seal), not the part attached to the door! Allneed to be in good condition. If you have any of these seals/sensor then drop me a PM please. Cheers. Rob.
  18. Cheers mate. I could drill the old lambda out if needed, so thats not a problem. Im not sure on price either, so as soon as you have an idea let me know. i will look forward to hearing back from you. Rob.
  19. No problem mate. Would you be interested in selling the decat on its own? Rob.
  20. Could it be the ignition switch? This would not explain the misfire, but I have seen this happen to the ignition switch where you get all lights, Window etc working but the engine just wont turn over.
  21. No offence taken atall mate. Basically I'm looking for a full exhaust system like the one your selling, in order to replace this one. So I can't sell it for any less than what I would have to pay to replace it. I can offer you a swap/swap plus cash maybe, but I would need to make sure if I sold it then I can put another set up back on in reasonable time. Hope this makes since. Cheers.Rob.
  22. Postage is not a problem. I recon it will probably cost about £9 through Parcelmonkey to get it to you. Im ideally looking for something to swap for this system, but if you want to make me an offer then we could possibly strike a deal? Cheers mate.

  24. Hi Josh. This is what I have to offer if its any good to you mate: It could do with a good clean and polish, but its in pretty good condition.
