Recon on a black c they could look pretty cool. Fogs are growing on me, I am liking the euro look, not sure about headlights though yet. Look forward to seeing them on your car. Can't imagine it would look great on a silver/light coloured C, but on darker colours it has potential. The yellow fogs on the golf and the bumperless front looks awesome btw!

Hhhhhmmm not too sure on a C, unless you are going to race it! As there is always something to spend your money on where the C is concerned, I recon it would be better spent on something else - as it is going into the bodyshop why not join tempests group buy for a rear spoiler or something?

Would be nice to keep this totally original given what a nice example it is. Apart from the exhaust any other after market mods? Stereo? Alarm? Look forward to more pics. Has it got all the paperwork from new? MOTs , receipts etc, all the stamps? None of the usual stone chips on the bonnet, dents in the doors etc? The golf looks amazing! The C in as good a nick as that?

Wow what is its history, cant believe a car from 1990 can look so good! Has it had a respray and had its wheels refurbed or has it just been used in the summer or something and stored in a garage? Look forward to hearing more details on it and seeing more photo's incl interior. I would almost be tempted to sell my VR for this! Looks like a really nice example, and lower maintenance without the sunroof, I am paranoid that it will go one day... Why didn't you buy it off your dad?

Well great weather to do it, looks like a brilliant road trip. I fancy doing something like that myself, but over 2 days at least! Your C looks great btw! I will be moving to oxfordshire soon, any recommendations for garages, paint shops, wheel refurbers etc etc to use? Have you sold your car already then, or looking to sell next month?

Yeah I have been thinking about this too? Anybody? Think you might need to upgrade some other parts of the suspension to strengthen body - uprated antiroll bars and maybe even strut braces?

Very nice in the flesh too, there was one on the Isle of Wight, owned by one of the guys that made the Carmageddon pc game. Those guys had the most amazing work car park, they must have made a shed load from that game, other cars in the parking lot included a tvr, a couple of 911's and an AC Cobra. The Delorian stood out the most though, looked fantastic!

Nice, do like the colour coded front spoiler and those wheels. What are the wheels, I've seen them elsewhere but dont know what they are.

Hhhm I would go with VR6's suggestion too, equal distance between wheel arch and tyre all the way round would look the best. Looking good though, liking the RC's!

May have seen Kevhaywires VR, the same colour anyway, L reg and lowered and in mint condition, very nice colour in the flesh. Passed us on a foggy M4 between Oxford and Bath on Saturday morning, I was in a friends car.

Looks really mean though, black tinting adds to the overall look. esp with the black detailing on the porsche alloys. 8)

Burnout, excellent, I will keep an eye out for for the pics.

6 months and 2.5k, but its about to change as the C becomes a daily driver and will be using it more on the weekends for London-Oxford run. Will be interesting to see how many I do in the next 6 months! Will have oil and filters changed etc before it starts to get some serious use!

Burnout, you got a pic of your C on santa monica's - seen them on golfs and always wondered what they would look like on the C. I imagine pretty good! Sorry back to topic...

Nice one flusted, really liking the smooth bumper and rear panel. Will keep an eye out for it next time I am on the island. My mother lives there and I have told her to keep an eye out for raddo's and report back, but so far she has seen a blue storm and a metallic grey one, not seen yours yet. How do you cope with the shoddy roads and being slammed - you almost need the original 4x4 style c suspension over there! Bet you have been on the military road once or twice :twisted:

Corrado VR6 parked on the corner of the stand (london) over the road from the Waldorf lastnight - dark metallic colour, i think green, looked totally original. Reg was M44 CCR (if I remember correctly) weird seeing a corrado there, very posh! Was parked there all yesterday night. Also an aqua blue 16v pulled out onto the strand at about 6.15 lastnight too. It's just I have an evening class down that way and I was just thinking that I have never seen a corrado in central london, then along comes two on the same road.

Oh yeah, nasty, don't you have to run it to the roof then down to the tail...
