Unscrew gear knob and then the boot should just pull out from the base, with the knob attached. The knob is then just clipped to the boot. Interior forum as well ;)

No cambelt to be changed. Timing chain which don't usually get changed. Worth checking to see if it's noisy though.
-
Ok, good idea Joe.

I don't quite see the point of everyone saying "on a private road".

Now I know that you are entitled to have whatever sections you want.... ...but if you like, why not just link to the classifieds here? I think we have suitable guidlelines in place for the classifieds to run smoothly. Saves you maintaining another classifieds section. Consolidates it a bit more and saves people checking/posting in 5 or so different places for parts/cars. Just a thought :)

Nah I know it's rare because it's relatively crap. Can't wait to see the finished article Phat. Keep us updated,

Very nice mate! Although it is such a crap engine, it will be a shame to kill one of the rarest (obviously not in the sought-after sense) Corrado's. Sure it will be a stunner though :)

I have an early style handle ie no lip on my drivers side and it works fine. Has the necessary wires and the full closure works as well.

I suppose it depends on the drop more than anything Chris. I would assume Kev is assuming a standard ride height. Good to hear lots of opinions though.

I'll close this one for you and we can keep chat to the other thread.

Well if you're limited to a 2.0 16v for insurance, how are you going to afford a turbo'd MX5? Just curious. A turbo'd MX5 sounds very good actually. Corrado everytime though ;) (Less scissor compartments - sorry Andi ;))

yeah, my typo, sorry, read it again. :? Ah, gotcha! All we need now is some pics :)

I thought Blackberry was quite a way off Aubergine?

Is it when you are cornering? Have you checked the battery terminal and earth etc?

What's wrong with this thread? http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=4844 I thought Kev had suggested it was a new clutch that was needed, just as you say above that this is what your specialist said. Do you want someone to tell you it isn't the clutch? :)

standard 0-60 times... mines weird but good!

John, I imagine that there are some superb smaller roads tucked away hrere there and everywhere. It just seems like the clamp down (read: money-making venture) on speeding is getting ridiculous. Is there anyone that doesn't have points nowadays? I read on the egroup light-hearted talk about coming over here. I seriously think it's a great idea! A summer evening convoy around the circuit - I can see it now :D

Nigel - consider Monarch. When we came to Spain they were only about £10 more expensive than Easyjet but the times were better and you got a meal and a very good service IMO.
