no mate ,iirc the sunroof needs be in the tilted position to put the liner back , can you get a pic of the roof from the same position as my pic ? what is the liner catching on ? usually you need lift the front of the silver sliders on each side and slide the liner under them download this attachment it might give you better idea of whats in there
-
have you got a sunroof liner ? not sure i'm reading what you wrote correctly but is it pushed back into the roof ? see the silver arms on each side (in my pic) ,if the roof is back you will need to lift these up as you pull the liner forward or the liner will catch hth

not sure what car you have , early or late interior but see in the pic of mine , the interior light panel pulls down (iirc you need to pull the light out first ) and the motor is behind there , there should be an allen key there aswell (clipped on the motor) as you can manually wind the motor in case you get stuck with it open
-
cant help you there , sorry , i havent got any , did consider them once til i saw the price :-) any numbers codes etc on them or maybe post a pic ?
-
make sure the motor is in tight because if it isnt aligned properly it wont drive correctly which could give the problem you describe ;-)

:-) no worries it seems common that peeps use H&R adaptors , are you sure yours arent these ?

Guide to cleaning and caring for your leather.
GIXXERUK replied to jedi-knight83's topic in Car Care
i never thought about the hairdryer , i usually do the leather in the summer , i tried it yesterday with gliptone and it worked great , with the added bonus of it being nice and toasty while you do it cheers nathan -

s2000 hmmm... stonking engine but a little bit hairdresser maybe ? you have to work the engine hard to get the best out of them but they are quick
-
the vx220 is definitely a possible "next car" for me , i've took a couple of tubby's out and they are very quick and handle superb with a geo set up but they are a hardcore car - no carpets to speak of and a crap heater , no air con or electric windows but you do get a big smile 8) moonland grey turbo would be my choice, 0-60 in 4.7 secs  , nearer the 4 with a stage 2 tune

The plastic box near the throttle body connected to the ISV on OBD1 VR6 motors is the ISV damper. It keeps the ISV a little quiter. Without it you might hear a slight whistle, whine, or airflowing past the ISV when the ISV is in use. OBD2 VR6 motors have the Idle Stabilizer Valve built into the throttle body, so this quickie how to does not abbly to newer VR6 motors, or 24v VR6. THE CAUSE: the ISV damper is right above the exhaust manifold and gets pretty hot. Well, that and time allow the idle stabilizer valve damper to crack. I've hear reports of them blowing apart also. Anyway, they get weak and break. THE FIX: Remove it. Take it off and chuck it. The volkswagen dealer can get you a new one, but whats the point? If your engine cover is in the way, remove it first. Take the ISV damper of, and completely remove the two hoses connected to it. Leave the Idle Stabilizer Vale on. Take the longer of the two hose and cut it so that it connects the ISV back up without the use of the ISV damper box. All Done. Go Drive.
