do a search on the 6x4's, i seem to remember peeps liking the jbl and infinity units

iirc its actually on the back of the tweeter on the dash (if it is a crossover ?) , the oem speaker pods are too small to get a really decent sound from, i tried a few sets and then bought audioscape pods with focal components for what was an expensive car when new, the audio is one of the worst i've ever heard in standard form

heyzy, i would they are probably bouncing , have a play til it suits your driving , they're easy to adjust (well at the front anyway lol)

synta silver from the dealer , not expensive and its good stuff , mines done 170k and i have no issues with it ;-)

lovely golf mate and well spec'd , the c is unlikely to depreciate anymore atm especially during winter months so why not just live with it for a while and come to a decision later when you realise how much you use it and how much you like the golf (once the honeymoon is over :-) ) when i get another car i would love to keep the c but it doesnt make any sense at all ! but hey these things never do but it doesnt stop us doing them ;-)

too soft and they bounce to easy , the hard and they will jump on bumps - sounds as though your on one of the extremes , just need setting from the sounds of it , should be top adjustable using the white plastic key

what is the cure for a hub running out of true ? new hub , poorly fitted bearing (out of square ?) or poor geometry ?

no worries , just keep an eye on here or ed38 or ebay for a loom
