  1. echo ! you dont expect me to READ the thread , i look at the pics
  2. its not as bad as you would think but its a knuckle scaper :-) i heated my sound deadening with a paint stripper gun so it stuck on contact and then flattened it with a small roller, the type you use on wallpaper joins, its easier buliding smaller pieces into a jigsaw effect due to the small gap in the door but you getting a satisfying "clunk" from the door when your done ..sounds quality ! this was when i'd done most the inside ..
  3. just ordered some bits off your site neil , how easy is it !! :-) used paypal and it was a doddle :thumbleft:
  4. gratuitous pics 8) well done jay 8)
  5. done the boot, rear quarters, under the rear seat , the doors make the biggest difference imo sound deadened the inner skin and the outer nearest the door card and then put neoprene on the inner and rain stop guards at the rear of the speakers ..all from jim at audioscape
  6. as Son of a Beesting, it could be the bulb or poor connection , the fan will either be the thermal fuse ( a new resistor needed which cost pence from maplin) or the copper contacts behind the switch are dirty - pull the knob off and clean the contacts and make sure they do contact sometimes it needs a bit of manipulation
  7. hmm .... after hours of deliberation and in depth mathematical equations , i came to the conclusion i need to ask "what colour are these valvers" - word is the red ones are the fastest - so jim told me  so in conclusion - the red one ! is more aerodynamic

  19. matt_corradovr6, i've always used mobil 1 in my other cars but the general consensus was that fully synth in an older engine is not a good idea as it could cause leaks or burn off easier and maybe not offer the protection a thicker oil would
