my mats have a fixing,theres a plug that screws into the carpet and the mat has a hole that goes over it , twist the lug and its fixed have you tried the velcro they sell at halfrauds for holding subs ?

probably worth taking the horn switch apart to check the contacts

have you got dual horns ? get someone to press it (ignition on) and check there for the voltage, if theres nothing then do the same and check at the fuse

it really depends on the car colour imo

this is true although not really valid as the insurance will write the car off for stone chips so they never actually buy any parts its also the lack of air bags/ safety equipment that bumps the price up because of the potential for injury claims

mpg is about the same on both maybe slightly better on the G , i would only advise you drive both as people can only give you their opinion on which they prefer

superb car mate , i like what your doing to the interior , i've done all my switches dash etc with led's ,makes the car feel much newer anyhoo the pic of your centre console , i used to hate the gaitor hanging down from the gear knob , its an easy fix though ,just put a spring under the gaitor which sits on the circlip underneath , looks much neater
