i'm not 100% sure if that had cl to be honest , butan easy check to see if he's right is to open the boot and pull the carpet back on the right hand side panel and you should see all the connections there if it is just the pump ,iirc (try a search) you can either get another c one or use an audi 100 pump which are supposed to be quieter

what do you mean by the main mechanism ? are you missing just the pump in the boot ? or the whole thing ?

expansion tank £27.48 cap £ 5.84 sorry i priced a vr6 mate :-) why the 4 cyl is dearer i dont know prices are probably from 1972 i'm not too hot on hector :wink:

the whole second hand market is on its knees at the mo but the c has definitely took a battering only in short bursts :-(

wash and shammy ,used some gliptone on my leather seats , seems like good stuff for the money (£9.99 for cleaner and conditioner) and really gives it that leather smell :-)

have you ordered a DVD yet of the RR day cos you never know what might be on that DVD i was one the first mate but i think your thinking of a different vid tiff driving it to wolfsburg is the one i mean , it was the last corrado ever produced (so they said), it was on top gear anyone ever found that one ? i remember watching it when it was on but never since seen it

A1 VR6, lol i spotted that and wondered "whats he on about ?" yeah 96 would be a P reg easy mistake tbh (there are P reg rados out there , late registered)

are you sure ? i'm fairly sure mine is in the boot on the right hand side behind the carpet in a polystyrene box

sounds like the fuel pump , have you had a feel of it when it makes the noise , you should feel the vibration the cl pump is in the boot on the right hand side behind the carpet but i'm sure this is only active when you use it hth paul
