dynamatt and where the plastic conctacts the body use draught excluder, that should sort it if not buys a couple of subs and stick them in there :-)

ok, just a thought but most replies include R32 engine 4wd tt/porsche dash etc etc etc but at what point does a corrado stop being a corrado and become a golf wearing a corrado suit ? at what point are you leaving the car you initially bought because of what it is to change it into something totally different ?

my driveway has an incline so i always leave it in gear and the handbrake creaks like a coffin lid , you really have to yank it to get it to hold well , definitely not to be relied on

always the same mate , i went to france with work for a week and was promised it would be ready on my return, it eventually took 3 weeks

why does it come as a suprise to people that its dark in winter with slippy roads... every year ? this coupled with the heater full blast and the driver semi conscious/drowsy is always a recipe for disaster, so you have to be on your toes for the dozey driver to do the unexpected i hope not to see anymore "my c is dead" posts :-( , the onlysaving grace is no one has been injured

take the dash out (only 10 mins) and make sure everything is plugged in at the back looks nice , i like hockenhiems

is this VR6 specific or could it be adapted for other models , where's bill, i'm suprised he hasn't bought this yet , he's on a buying frenzy :-) :-( there does seem to be a lot of c's being murdered lately though

dr_mat, no afaik everything is 2.9, only the block was a 2.8 which was bored out to a 2.9, it was burning an excessive amount of oil so a 2.8 block was sourced and bored out

RW1, sorry i had to give sunday a miss unfortunately, hope to make the next one afaik the bottom end is a 2.8 bored out to 2.9 by awesome gti , the guy who dyno'd it last week remembered the car and the work done to it , he said it was definitely a 2.8 that was bored out, all the other ancilleries were as was It isn't chipped and is running a standard ecu, we replaced this with another rado vr6 ecu and run it on the rollers and it made no difference he overlay my dyno graph over a previous 2.8 graph he had done and it showed it to be up on that all the way to 4800 rpm where mine dropped off and the 2.8 continued to make power without taking the head off and vernier the bore, i dont suppose there is any way i can tell ? would a 2.8 run ok with all the 2.9 ancilleries ? tia

20v turbo, only jokin mate theyre the same as i've got , pia to clean but look ok :-)
