  3. both for the top mount , your bearings maybe ok but for cost i would throw new ones in
  4. rear ? no thats the grooved axial bearing that the front mount swivels on the top mount is the donut of rubber ;-)
  5. If you can get your little finger (or any of your bigger digits) between the rubber and the top plate of the top mount, they're goosed. 1J0 412 249 is the bearing £4.44 each 357 412 331 A is the top mount £12.58 each both plus vat £40 for both the bearings and top mounts inc vat
  6. StuartFZR400, muc off is good on the bike, but next time you need to clean the back wheel (white on the gix) try some wd40 on a rag, works superb

  8. it was quick but it felt longer legged than the rado (gearing?), i can only imagine the TT is mental and very thirsty , the rado is much better on petrol very comfy car , less focussed than the c
  9. Phil K, bought some wheels for my bro's cossie from wheelbase and had problems, demon tweeks put new spiggots in and it was fine ? who knows ? OK VR6, have you tried changing the wheels around ? ie, front to back ? the rear is much more tolerant , just a thought

  12. yes mate, they can often get deformed or even lost :-( but you would def know about that ...
  13. NA mate i did too many miles at the time to get TT , really nice car , smooth power delivery, nice cruiser boot is as big as the glove compartment :-)

  15. OK VR6, check the spiggot rings are'nt damaged , this often causes problems, these seat in the alloy and sit on the hub
  16. the peeps at work go ape because i take up two spaces :-) i hate it , you nip to tesco's and park miles away from everything and when you come out someone has parked right next to you ...grrrrrrrr lack of respect , if you walked up to their house and threw a brick through the window they would think you were mental and yet the window costs less than a repair to bodywork :-(

  20. some wheels are just too much hassle to wax, the eggy smell is the sulphur, and wonder wheels is too expensive to use on a regular basis i do find since fitting pagid frp's the wheels and calipers are really dirty and only wonder wheels cleans them on my bike the best thing to use is wd40 , you could never just wash chain wax/lube off

  22. Mr.Ots, Now just needs a wheel refurb and new colour coded grill (original was damaged so replaced with temporary black one) then she'll be minty.

  24. yep continuity is good on 1-2 and 3-4 , i got 9.75v on setting 5 and 11.5 on setting 1 ?? i thought the same as you higher voltage should be higher setting the temp regulator is a resistor i take it , whereabouts does this sit cheers paul (oddlyenough) :-)
