Well some progreaa made today me thinks for the forthcoming season. The wheels dropped off for shot blasting and powder coating! company looks weel good so looking forward to the results A nice shiney strur brace arrived today so if I get a chance tomorrow that will be fitted The car got a deserved clean and wax before the rain commes later dont care though as the winter driving round he sites are taking its toll so new some more tlc i think. The head should be rebuilt on wednesday and bottom end thursda as long as the scooby transfer to a bus doesnt take longer than expected so happy on tht account. The engine should be ran in enough to thrash around the ring in July :D

There is a similar one in the north east but for club members only. There is one ramp, a few temp bays that can be worked in and longer staying bays for full restoration projects. A mate has got a bay booked for 6 months coming up to restore a land rover and thinks the place is very good. To use the specailist tools you are required to prove you can use them competantly before hand and not 100% but think there is a waiver to sign. Having said that the guy is very handy at car maintenance etc and facilities like the one near me helps people persue there passion whom do not have that kind of facility at hand.

Well was hopefully going to fit the bonnet release cable today and rebuilt the head tomorrow with 263 cams but the weather has knackered that :( Progress not going good on the engine build unless the weather picks up

where did you get 440 injectors from and how much as want some in the future for the turbo progression? cheers

Daily too, as my caddy will only do about 20 miles before it starts to boil!!! :lol: however had to take the wide rims off when it lashed down with snow as took an hour to get the car on the drive so thought was ample time to refurb them.
