No CCTV at work, otherwise they probably would have caught the pikey barstewards that broke into it a week ago! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: I really hate people they dont own up to mistakes. Maybe its a case you can take to your bosses to get cctv put in. Sure if one of their cars got broken into it would be up the next day!

Same thing happened to my mate. Do you have cctv? His work did and he went to security and fouind out who did it and got them to pay. I hope you get it sorted!

Yeah I tried to contact him a few times and he never got back to me either. I think if he cant be bothered to call people back it casts doubts (in my mind at least) about how much he might look after the cars.. Im with Goldie, try to get from an enthuisiast

....what else would you do while you were there? If I was to change the heater matrix on a VR6, what else would you change (switches etc) while you were there?? Just thinking it would be a good oportunity to do some other bits? I mean more along the lines of things that go wrong rather than to make it look nicer. Thanks

Prices look good and I was going to look at some but I heard bad reports. Apparently a guy on edition 38 brought one from him and turned out to be a dog with a faked MOT. He is quite rude from all accounts as well (not that shoudl make a diference I suppose but puts my back up) Still you might be ok. I would try to buy from an enthuhist if I could though.

I think with about 3k you will be lucky to find that kind of spec car. Not saying you wont but I would be more interested in things like if it was enthuhist (sp) owned etc and what condition the body/engine was in. You can always add leather, and its easier/cheaper than some of the more expensive engine problems!

I might be interested in the interior!! EDIT: sorry I thought this was a for sale thread. I would say about £1500 as your bound to get that back easily.

Yeah that was one excellent bit of racing, but that was just bit in a brilliant season by him. He is top driver and once he has got his teeth into racing in F1 I think he is our best hope for the next UK F1 Champ. 8)

Agreed, I was always dead set against ever having the same car twice (like going on holidays to the same place twice). Then I sold my Corrado. A year later I am back looking for one. :wink:

My last car was a 200sx. I can certainly say they are a lot of fun with a thrieving (sp) forum. Mine was about 280bhp and i could still get around 30mpg if I was careful on a run. Loads of fun if you saw a deserted car park as well! They dont have quite as much 'soul' as a corrado but I would recommend them to someone who was looking for something different. The only thing is parts are a bit more expensive than a corrado!! Get him over to http://www.sxoc.com to have a look at whats for sale, some bargins on there!

:mad: As some of you know I have been lurking for a new corrado (of the VR6 varient) for a few months now. I have missed out on a few due to just bad luck which I can accept (one car even to a forum member :lol: ) BUT I missed out on one car by a matter of a day. It looked like a really nice car, 87000 miles, ice violet grey etc. I was a bit pee'd at missing it but I accpeted it and moved on. Anyway the guy emailed me tonight to tell me that he sold it to a dealer and its up for sale if I was interested, but he did warn that it had been hiked up slightly in price. I saw the link and it had volkscar in the URL so I feared the worst. Guess what it was up at over £1800 more than the dealer paid for it!! :shock: I know dealers make their money by adding a bit to what they paid for it and I had heard that Volkscars was bad for it but this is a joke! For me its the same as people buying 100's of tickets for a festival and then selling them at inflated prices. Its just a way of screwing people out of money. :cry: And i know people will say 'well thats life' and to a certain degree I agree, but volkscar just take the mick. I just needed to vent. I just feel sorry for the person who buys this. In the mean time I am without a car and on the search harder. Rant over
