if you go for the red tops you will need the sns chip aswell. if you can get both done then go for that. otherwise just get the sns chip as it is far superior to the jabbacrap you have on there at the moment, lots of people will agree with me on that!

dont think mine will quite hit 300bhp, but should be a comfortable 250bhp with scope for a bit more...

yeah thats a certain little black polo!!! would never have met him if it hadnt been for u Darren!!!! :lol: he only took me around the industrial estate where it was being rolling roaded, so he owes me about 199 more miles!!!

went out in a 221bhp polo G40 earlier on today and my god is that quick!!! you will die if you crash it mind you but you will have such fun driving it! if my G60 is as quick as that when its finished i will be super chuffed!

could someone please post an exploded diagram of a G60 engine from the cambelt end? Its the block which is needed more than anything Rob

yeah im familier with all of this, i took the head off mine and no1 piston wasnt the shape it was supposed to be!! so hence my g60 is sitting in a workshop with no engine in! there is light at the end of the tunnel as i have a new engine and it should be a belter!!

you shoulnt really run fully synthetic in a g60, but i would seriously look into this problem. the oil pick in the sump can sometimes get blocked causing low oil pressure. the sensor could be duff, or it could be something more serious as i found out

swap the blue and black plugs on the temp sensors in to top hose. i know you may think they are working but i had all sorts of issues with starting mine form cold, changed the sensor and she started easy

ive already changed the lambda probe for an aftermarket one so its been rewired, shouldnt be a problem fixing it in

need an air/fuel gauge but not sure which one to buy, any recommendations? which wire on the lambda probe does it tap into? cheers Rob

put a solid front mount in. improves throttle repsonse and will be a better option if you decide to tune your g60 further. if your putting harder suspension on you wont notice any difference in ride quality. i paid £70 for mine from JMR

know exactly how you feel mate, im picking my new engine up in the morning!!my car has been off the road for a month or two now for various reasons and it got to the stage where i laughed when i found my no1 piston was fooked!! its only an engine and at least when you fix it, it will be pukka again!! i dont think i can use the checkpoint software as its for a pda by the looks of it and im running a stand alone tom tom unit

ive tried doing all of that and i cant get it to bring up the speed cameras, its getting a bit frustrating now

hi, ive got a tom tom 700 and want to download the safety camera sites onto it. ive tried looking on the pocketgpsworld site but its all a bit mind boggling. has anybody got the files they could give me links to so i can download please? cheers Rob
