Soooo true!! I keep it below 3K and don't show any boost until 80 degrees oil temp. Then let it rip!
-
Probably has something to do with your shoes
-
It might be that the arms and blades aren't the weak point in the system? Just a thought
-
I think you use a front Lupo on the rear. You need to cut down the arm slightly and weld the lug back on. JMR did mine for me  Looks completely factory though. See my Dubforce pics below though for the fronts :)

The bodywork on mine is near perfect already (even if I do say so ;)) I've put up a similar post up on E38 and there are a few pics of 8 inch rims with 50's and there is mild stretch without going, in my opinion, over the top. G-Lader's right, there is no protection with 45's. I don't see the point in the whole Euro obsession with fitting incorrectly sized tyres that look dangerous and provide little cusioning. The car's at JMR at the moment having another load of work done so wheels may have to take a back seat anyway. :(

Might be worth a separate thread?

 Synta- good and cheap. The most important thing with oil (apart from using the right grade) is to change it regularly
-
I'll second that!

Tomson: Clay Bar received! Cheers. You also sent me a catalogue damn you. My utility room already looks like Halfords, I don't need more car care products ;)
-
I've used these guys and the chap who came out to me (Tunbridge Wells) was ace, gave me a sneaky discount too as I had dents on 2 separate panels: http://www.dentdevils.co.uk/

Could well be adjustment. There is a special VW tool/jog type thing that will allow you to adjust the cable shift perfectly. Obviously a Stealer will have this but VW specialists might too. You may also want to replace the oil in the 'box as this will also dramatically affect the shift quality.

toothed belt conversion or stand alone oil feed can't decide

I'd defo go for an oil cooler above all (unless you've already got one!) -
Space constraints pretty much rule out the BMC type filters. My charger was rebuilt at about 90K by Jabba but getting it done by JMR now at 116K will give me some peace of mind and make the car more saleable. He's also opening up the ports as Jabba are known to do a bit of a half arsed job on their "stage 4's".

Well first priority is the charger. I use a chap in West Sussex called John who is a Corrado specialist. His username on the forum is 16VG60. My car's down there at the moment for it's second charger rebuild at 116000 miles. Prices for a rebuild start at £350, more of you want porting done. Your charger is living on borrowed time! New ones are about £1000 to put it into context! I'd replace the filter with a standard airbox and a K&N panel filter. Pipped you to the post Dinkus!

Where are you based?

Looks tidy. G60's are 8v :) Do you know when the supercharger was last serviced? They should be serviced every 40,000 miles or so (less if you're running a smaller pulley). Those foam airfilters are known to let more particulate nasties in than their cotton counterparts.

Your avatar terrifies me a bit.

I've ordered a clay bar so I'll give that a go and then Swissol it. I'm sure it works better on a car that has been "deep clensed" by a clay bar. The Swissol also benefits from being done in strong sunlight (unlike other polishes) so I'll choose a hot day although current weather suggests I may have to drive the car to another country :)

That was the car that made me want the Modern Lines in the first place, he's running 195/45s though.
-
Newman cams will grind you anything you like ranging from lairy to mild: http://www.newman-cams.com/ Much cheaper than anything else too.
-
I need a pic of some 8 inch wide 15 inch wheels with a 195/50 tyre if anybody has any. I think the 195/45's are a bit too stretched and don't know what the 50's will look like. I'm looking at some Schmidt Modern Lines. Cheers.

Quote Clarkson "I like lesbians". Excellent.

Wow, we headed east to get home and the weather was fine, even sunny in places.
-
Yup, most of the time in the F150 you can make speedly progress without even using the charger. 5.4 litres is sufficient for most applications  When it does kick in you REALLY feel it. It produces 350ft/lbs on tickover
