drove her today! feeling really nice mpg is much improved since i found the leak was cruising at 32mpg was 25 max before! she is pulling so hard now cant wait for my water injection!

mines getting worse now i get a clunk click on direction change ill do the outer cv's first then move onto the rack i think its just worn and not meshing properly.

use spira wrap it looks neat is very easy to use and comes in a multitude of colours! it also protects your wires from chaffing! im slowly doing my whole bay with it.

found a fuel leak thank god smell was driving me mad! cleaned and oiled my filter, struggled and swore at the top plastic tensioner for the serp belt its bolt is rounded out and access is non existent it will wait till the charger comes out! pulley is only a bit cracked round the edge!

woo hoo finally found the leak it was the hose that meets the injector rail ive trimmed the hose for now but ill replace it when the bits arrive, thank god for that was driving me mad wasnt even looking for it either! -

fitted a solid front mount and a bahn brenner rsr outlet which i got from the bay for $70! lovely bit of kit! im sure there is a bit more power now? the solid ft mount is great a little more vibration but hey its not a daily driver so who cares! incidently these are two jobs that should be done together taking the old silencer box off make the ft mount much easier!

15-20 around town is right on the money as far as i can tell, g-man reckons an sns chip will see it improve. so i think im going to order one up as soon as i can work out how to worka multimeter and set up the copot!!

ive always done it this way woest ive experienced was my old cab had a misfire for about 2 mins then cleared when warm, this was only straight after it didnt do it again, my rados bay comes up a treat with the jet wash but a good steam clean does the job better.

sweet as cheers ive got a lovely snap on extra long 22mm spanner for my bikes wheel spindle! but knowing my luck there wont be enough room to use it!! henny did the lambda sort your problems? also i take it the 93031 part number guarantees a bosch lambda? are we entitled to a discount for being on the forum? is it worth a try?!

is that 20% off vag prices? anyone know what these are new? i want one so i can get it seam welded, powder coated stick some new bushes in it and bung it on. are there any other vw's that share a cross member?

id go for the 2ltr if i were you it will be newer but thats the only reason some say the 1.8 k-jet is faster i have no experience but my k-jet mk 2 golf with fast road cams was ballistic!!
