If you notice when he leaves the track for the grass, no break lights go on, I think there is a flicker just before he hits the track again, but obviously all to late by that stage..... looks nasty and a shame for the Mk1.

Before I had my Rado I had a 1.4 Focus :oops: and hadn't got round to declaring my 6 penalty points, the Focus was group 4 and my premium was £600. Then I bought the 16v knowing the insurance group and expecting a serious increase as I was also declaring the penalty points too. What happens?? They quote me £500 :crazyeyes:

This week I've mostly rediscovered, Groove Armada "doin it after dark", Cream seperates 1997, the sprite advert music album, Layo and Bushwacka and some really old school stateside garage.....have it! :-) Always have Groove Armada close to hand..... proper summer tunes on there!! Current favourites are Justice vs Simian.. We are your friends Depeche mode (Jacques Lu Cont).. A pain that I'm used too Juliet .. Avalon Royksopp.. What else is there? (see the Jacques Lu cont theme) and a bit of Orbital for that old skool feel.

As has been said before, do you reckon the cash an owner has paid to sort out a VR6 should be reflected in the price, or is that their loss? What do you all reckon a ball park figure is for a decent VR is theses days? I've seen one but reckon the owner is looking too much and think he knows it too, so for a genuine Vr what would you pay??

I think you'll regret selling it after all the time, money and effort you have put into her. Like gaz the geezer, says you'd be better to store it somewhere if you can until you can afford to replace the engine.
