  1. PMSL  :bad-words:  Just when you thought you'd solve the problem :nono: :norty:
  2. Same reason why everyone else who sells up.............. ALWAYS comes back eventually. You obviously just have no will power
  3. Nice looking C, worth the wait for the pics  Should look excellent when the coils go on 8)
  4. If the Monkey doesn't want these hoses and they are what i need for these calipers, i'll take them please?
  5. Think you might be missing a part that came with my calipers, so would be good to see pics :)
  6. Like AJ says i'd go for the one in the best condition! 2.0l you have more chance of finding a lower milage, better condition one as these were the later cars, but there are a few good 1.8l examples out there. At the end of the day I'd rather not drive about in an unreliable shed just because it's that little bit quicker/torquery
  7. In this day and age with the amount of knives hoodies are carrying, wouldnt this be a prime target  Nice concept though.
  8. Ta very much, thanks for taking the time to do this :salute: is there torque settings fro the bolts?
  9. Nice bargin, i wanna job where you work, sounds like Corrado hand me downs are in free flow
  10. Hi all, I've just been looking in the WIKI and noticed there is a guide for upgrading to 312 brakes for the VR6. I am about to upgrade the brakes on my 16v to G60 fronts and MK4 rears and was wondering if anyone who has carried out these upgrades would be willing to do a similar guide so I know I dont' miss anything. I know this takes alot of time to compile but think I it would be useful to alot of members. If this is too much of a hassle has anyone got any tips or pointers of things that may be easily over looked. I've also read the WIKI guide for Front brakes removal and refitting so got a few pointers from that :) Thanks in advance for any help :)
  11. Complete Bargin :salute: Can I ask where you got the rear brake discs and bearing and how much, I need these items myself so a pointer in the right direction would be good
  12. Looks like good work, but personally I think it would look much better if you had colour coded 3 slat debadged grill......
  13. Added you and online now with Critical mass
  14. Don't do it mate, i've been on here long enuff to see how far you've come with this car, just look back at the pics in the first thread. I remember you comments in the early days about what a shed (or something to that effect) it was, and now it has turned into one of my favourite C's on the forum, albeit not to everyones taste :norty: I am sure you've seen many members hankering after something diff only to come back after 6 months wishing they had never sold. How would you replace the C that you have built without having to buy it back? Maybe thats what you really want, now you've got it to were you want it your running out of ideas, if thats true, buy another and start again just dont waste your time on a Blandwagon
  15. I'll add you too Matt as I am keen for a few beers and a bit of Mariokart
  16. Just to throw another coal on the fire :norty: didnt I hear on the radio today that Government are thinking of introducing a tax for employers who provide more than 10 parking spaces at work.... which in turn employers will be allowed to pass on to their employees. As said before if public transport was 1. less expensive 2. dependable 3. more pleasant 4. time efficeint then maybe more of us would use it. They'll just tax the life out of us until we have no other option :bad-words:
  17. Got it today and havent put it down till now  awigman and critical mass your added just need some more for serious fun  My code is 4425-1834-1916 for anyone who wants to add me :D
  18. Welcome to the forum  Looks like a nice tidy Raddo, love the what you've done with the wheels, they really suit the blue 8) You might wanna consider some Lupo wipers and I think all red rears would look great at the back :)
  19. Cheers for that mate, thought they look slightly different, but thought it might have just been the different makes. :salute:
  20. yeah, avoid any calipers and carriers (from a mk3 golf) that are marked 'ATE' - these are the 288mm ones and a totally different type. You need Girling ones from a pre 95 mk3 golf GTI 8v, 16v or VR. or passat 2.0 16v(1994-6) or passat VR6 I recently bought a set of G60 Calipers and Carriers which are made by Lucas. Now I was told this was ok so long as they are Lucas or Girling and stamped with with a 54. Well turns out when I had a wheel off tonight the Caliper and Carriers that are on the car are Girling ones stamped with a 54  The discs are definately 256mm as I offered up the 280mm ones and they are noticeably larger. Is it possible the calipers and carriers have already been upgraded but the old owner left the the smaller disk on, I can't see how the 280mm items would fit. Any suggestions anyone?
  21. Nice one! YEAH WE NEED MORE CODES!!!!! Hub where did you get your code from? I still haven't got round to getting it yet, the code I had was from the main Wii menu, didnt realise it would be different for the game  I'll hopefully be getting it at the weekend and post my code up then :) sounds like I am missing out :(
