Cheers for the reply, and i understand that it would take some time to write a full comprehensive guide. I am just still undecided as to whether I want to have a go at this myself as a project or take the easy way out. I will let you know what I decide in the next few days so you can rule me out or add me as a genuine interest. Thanks for your reply Gary

Have found a Corrado Storm, pictures added 13/03/08
The Hub replied to Purple Tom's topic in General Car Chat
Is it not a little hopeful to think that if the DVLA contacted someone about ownership of a Storm which they value at 3.5k that they wouldn't actually reply confirming it is theirs???  -
Probably the same reason why TCS have no stock too  Plenty up for sale but not enough profit to be made, they've only got 2 listed compared to their normal 20 :norty: http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/tcs/sea ... StartRow=1

Hi KUR2Y, any chance you could do a complete detailed "how to" for a nominal fee ???
-
Yeah seen the other thread, so stuck between a rock and hard place now.... do i take the easy way out, or get stuck in and do my own. Like you say it would be alot more satisfying and I think I'd enjoy learning how to do it

 Thanks for that mate, as you went to so much trouble and detail writing that post i'd be embaressed not to have a go at this myself :salute: I am off now for the easter weekend, so I'll get organised with the parts ordering and will be having a stab at this in the near future. Thanks again mate your time and help are very much appreciated :D

I am considering having a go at this myself, the only thing putting me of is trying to source all the parts, if i knew were to go in one trip to get the bits and what part numbers i'd definately have a go. Any chance you or anyone who has built their own could give a description of all parts needed and where to get each part. I know theres a guide in the Wiki but it only tells you what you need and how to put it together. Would really help to know you've all the CORRECT parts before you start and don't get sidetracked cause you leave the job to go get that part you dont have :cuckoo:

All the Audioscape pods are made the same, it's buyers choice wheter to have the window switch cut out or not. So in answer to your question yes they should fit no problems :) HTH Edit I am assuming it's audioscape ones your talking about ?

I'm baffled, as you can see my Raddo is grey, Pearl Gray I thought... but from the list it claims Pearl Grey was only available from 91 onwards  Now my Raddo is a 90 and has had paint at some stage but i always thought it was painted in the original colour... can anyone confirm 1990 C's didnt come in Pearl Grey???

At the start of that Video, it looked like a mean micra coming towards ya..... can't believe that VW can release a cult car and have it looking like so many other current cars on the market, even an advert for the new Kia Ceed reminded me of the new "iroc" what a fooking piss take
-
I was up at the warehouse where my Raddo has been in hiding for just under a year  I have made a few minor changes over that period so I thought it was time to bring it out give it a wash and take some pics. Need to get the brakes done and then in for MOT and she'll be back on the road for the summer 8)

it was nice in my city and i had some time to kill... pics..
The Hub replied to vdubCorrado's topic in Members Gallery
You still need to break into the boot to get to the button  -

Mine are located under the rear parcel shelf supports meaning I am still able to access the car through the boot with the key. I then press the button and it operates the solenoid as it would from the Key fob. Bit annoying when your battery fails though as you have to climb through the boot and open it from the inside  -

The Hub replied to vdubCorrado's topic in Members Gallery
If it's the same as what I have in my Raddo, there's a solenoid in the doors which pops the door open by using a remote key fob, and also an alternative button located elsewhere in the car in case the key fob fails. -
