so if I put it straight on my C it'll cost 80 notes then per car a subsequent 80 quid? if i didn't want to transfer it, say if I bought a crap car then it would cost 200 quid per year to keep it on retention when not on a car? if so, fackin hell! good job going on me car (hopefully)

hey relative may be selling their personalised number plate which I am interested in. What kind of things do I need to know e.g. transfer fees, yearly fees etc?? Cheers Andrew

sorry Phil, live up north was at a wedding this weekend in sarfend. Funnily enough, me and missus have friends in Canvey

red corrado16v, rims OK thanks mate, got me there and back to southend no problem! can't believe the improvement in the ride running 15s. my 17s felt unconnected to my suspension in comparison. I am still getting used to the look, sometimes they look good, other times I miss the bigger rim look. When I have some more money I may look at refurbing them, otherwise I may swap onto something else....who knows! good to know they polish up well tho (as above), but powdercoating would look mean!

hi mate, just got your message. Could it be something with the earth on the back of the guages playing funny with your alarm/immob? -
i dont think a 968 is worth the extra over a good 944 turbo. They aren't too much different in looks wise and are meant to be as sweet handling. I think the kudos factor is against them vs a 968 CS (which are meant to be very unforgiving in the comfort stakes). I've looked at them, partly for the classic insurance but decided that a nearly 20 year old car was too risky if things went pop and having to pay porker specialist prices.

cheers to wayne, red corrado 16v for dropping off the sebrings on wednesday night. Hope you got back OK Andrew

nick is there no codes on the siren in the engine bay or behind the glovebox. Thats where I found mine when I was sorting insurance.....? (sorry if thats like sucking eggs!)
-
do my eyes deceive me or is there a renault 5 turbo loitering in that garage!
-
i'm with you Kev, plenty of options to be had turboing the valver. Except the shopping list can get plenty expensive, like the spreadsheet I got at the moment!!! but it depends how comitted to the car you wanna be, selling it could be tougher and if you want 6 cylinders then easiest solution is to start over

ice grey ones are the fastest

the storms weren't identified as storms on the V5 so I would doubt that VW could confirm it (stand to be corrected). To be honest, the guy could have spole to a cleaner at VW, he still would have "called" VW! I am sure a storm, sorry storm owner will be a long soon!

nice mate, wish I could get a boot install like that, couldnt get my golf clubs in tho! like the way your 2nd HU fits in the ashtray, mine still stick out a bit not had chance to tinker properly. How did you fit it in? Cheers Andrew

bloody insurance, i've got max no claims but being 23 means tough banana's for cheapy quotes, living in Manchester doesnt help... sorry O/T my mate has a pajero auto, its a bit thirsty on the diesel, he tows his jetski about too. Not sure if thats the norm tho
-
all i know is that the pajero will be more to insure as it is import version of shogun. don't imagine any of those 3 would let you down too much tho. What about an old subaru legacy?
-
cheers bally anyone got any powdercoated?
-
will be buying some emergency sebring wheels today to cover me until I can some spangly rims later this year (i hope). Got me thinking, has anyone pimped any sebrings and does anyone have any pics? Cheers Andrew
