Hey I was looking to to asking for motorbike lessons for by birthday later this year. Was wondering if anyone could recommend someone in the Manchester region and provide any pearls of wisdom. What is a good CC to get as a starter bike? 400 / 600? Are you limited to the capacity if your a newbie :lol: Cheers Andrew

to be honest I would keep anything oil related as I think it is more important than the voltmeter. Although the voltmeter has its uses.

can you buy the stuff for turboing the 16v engine without relying on a TurboTech kit appearing? surprised that more people don't do that if it is the case. What else do you need other than manifold, turbo and a shit load of custom pipework.

i would have any of the above rather than a TT. how much to the Vx220 Turbo knock out for nowadays, even the n/a one is better VFM than an elise.

Paul you seen the TT at awesome gti? that looks mint...but not my cup of tea, its still a TT - the styling isnt aggressive enough. S3 - hmph, would struggle to get excited that I own one but I know what you mean.

TBH unless its a skyline or rx7 I don't think jap will be my next car. the 300zx look nice but will date quicker and quicker as they get older, still go like brown stuff off a shovel.

not being funny - but has anyone PMd the guy that h100vw (Gav) "trained" - I am sure he would be interested to know there is a supply problem. Personally, I would not buy from anyone else as I know how highly Gavs looms were regarded. Cant remember the guys name tho!

hrrm interesting.... I can't afford one anyway, just enjoy trawling through the classified ads! My C is costing enough this month on some general loving and being under 25 she'll be around for a few years yet before I can afford to insure a real flying machine! (cue pictures of the Wright brothers :lol:)

hope you get going - thought it would be the battery, same thing happened to me. Any consolation, I thought oh feck my starter motor is knackered! Luckily I traced down to the battery, did wince when they relieved me of 65 quid though.

one problem i would look out for is overtaking a bus at a bus stop in a queue of traffic.......;)
