not got time to do a search but has anyone seen this? http://www.badger-5.com/2001/throttlebodiesdth.html whats the adv's disadv's of throttle bodies, I assume they are expensive £ / bhp compared to other options? anyone done this to a valver?

i've been meaning to get over to he island for the TT for years... my grandma lives over there. I remember being young and seeing all the bikes on the promenade in Douglas, the atmosphere was ace! enjoy a pint for me ;)

Kev, you got any more info on the above? Colleague in work is looking at a Golf GTI (to replace a 350Z WTF!), but would be interested to read some more about the problems...

quick question, how many 2.0 valver owners have done this mod did you get a garage to fit? If so, where and how much £ if not, can someone post up some info about the install procedure? Is any further adjustments e.g. timing etc required? Cheers Andrew

i wouldnt discount any of the models - depends on a number of things depending on your circumstances. Personally I like the trade off between insurance, petrol and mechanic bills on my valver (2.0) - not to mention you can pick up a decent one for about 2.5k or less. Buy on condition and history and you can't go wrong

mr beige, I have been doing some investigations on doing this to my C, seems like the best bang for buck option. I have PMd Low G and he was really helpful answering my stoopid questions! -

thats what happened to mine on Boxing day as I was driving back to my Mum's - what a bastard! Not sure how it works but managed to wedge it with some wire which has lasted 5 months and counting! Have bought spare motor and linkages in anticipation of failure. Anyway, its summer now - how much can it rain ;)

i like em, a small trade off in looks (IMO) over bonus with clearance, weight and strength! Nick, couldn't resist, sorry :D. Car is looking the part tho, nice work! Here's to being able to afford to do nice bits to my car soon! :)

bad news mate, let me know how you get on - my window has been a bit rattly this week - I need to check it out make sure it doesnt get any worse. I only dropped the window to listen to a F430 drive past!
