yes when a added a 6 branch with 268 cams and got it remapped i gained 25 bhp at the wheels and 30 lb ft at the wheels! my figures went up to 178 bhp and 175 lb ft at the wheels

im thinking the worst as the head was rebuild 12k ago its using loads of oil :( the only time i see any smoke is on the over run ie engine braking down hill another thing i noticed today was i left it idling for well over an hour and there was liquid in the exhaust it didnt feel like oil more like water but where could it come from?? any ideas apart from piston rings? ps its done 103k miles

just got back from stealth racing having it mapped and im a happy bunny i still have an issue with belt slip but consistantly get 10 psi which gives 300+ bhp and 265 lb ft minimum but vince managed to get it to breifly nudge 12 psi and got 319 bhp with 274 lb ft even that was slipping IF i can sort the slipping out and nail 12 psi properly it will have 320+ maybe 325bhp and methanol will certainly help too :) got back home took my mate out on my favourite b road and its a fookin animal make no mistake its VERY lively both on the throttle and on the brakes it feels so alive underneath you its a great feeling

mines set to come on at 4 psi which is approx 3200 ish rpm

theres no replacement for displacement ;) i know a place thatl do the conversion for you if you want mate :)

i think the american ratios are diffrent (maybe final drive) nut im not at all sure

mine suddenly sounds like a classic supercharger now (before it just whistled a bit) its not a knackered p[ower steering pump kind of noise it sounds just like a buzzy noise exactly like id expect a supercharger to sound BUT its deffo never made that noise before any ideas? could the water pump bearings suddenly go noisy the belt is pretty tight

i own a supercharged golf vr6 obd2 just got the lower temp thermostat fitted and its feckin great when cruising 60-80 mph the water sits at 80 and the oil stays at 78-80 my question is A what temps do the 3 stages come in and B can you get diffrent sensors to make the fans come in a bit earlier? the reason i ask is im goin the nurburgring in april and need all the cooling i can get as im running 12 psi with no intercooler lol

the system is now fitted and its bigger bore than the old 1 maybe 1/4 inch bigger they fitted the entire system and omfg its silent i cant hear the bloody thing at all booooo wheres kev when you need him lol

iv just bought a cat back jetex system (2nd hand) and to my suprise it has 2 silencers plus the backbox my current system is a backbox and absolutely NOTHING else sounds awesome imo i have a supercharger with 12 psi pulley but it only makes 11 psi (kev made 12.5 psi with this charger) would adding 1 or both silencer recover the lost boost???? i was planning on fitting the big silencer just behind the backbox (suitcase??) but what does the inline silencer do is it good or bad for an fi vr6??
