  1. I now have a de-wipered rear! I actually found the motor very easy to remove, but i'm still having difficulty with getting the grommit to stay in place. fitted a 13mm one from halfords, but it seems very small. Its just about in place, but looks like superglue may have to come out!
  2. prices are the wrong way round on GPC's website. smaller is £30.
  3. may help with less scraping, depends how low you're going. it will fit, same width etc.. use the search!
  4. Outside thresher?! Seen it up there a few times.. 90mm splitter fitted to the rear, looks smart.
  5. Two sets as in 1xblade and arm in each set... so both for me!! If there were more, i would have snapped them up and offered them here. Def worth checking at your local stealer, before going with the new refs.
  6. AA membership? probably even more apt for a rado owner! Thats a nice thought though. You can tell your boss I think he's a good lad. [if you like - not compulsary]
  7. Fitted these last week and they are AMAZING!! recommend to anyone who hasn't yet coughed up! Best bit though, I played dumb at the stealers and made them check the old set number [6X2998406 - Drivers blade and arm] The bloke said, 'yup, we've two of them in stock, they're £20.63 each set.' 'Perfect' I said. 'and what discount do you offer for CCGB members.' 'i'll take off 10%, as you dont have your membership card' Ahh... that'll do!
  8. went to pick up a clay bar at halfords today, popped into maplin next door after. the guy at the front desk helped me with an enquiry and then said 'nice car btw, i've liked them for ages. when i get rich i'm gonna get one of those!' I checked the car park after to see if he thought i was driving something else! Drove off with a smug grin 8)
  9. good luck with the project! looks good
  10. I would advertise at £2500, but valvers dont seem to be shifting at the moment. However, this does look to be a fine example, so you never know. sell it, and i'll cut your balls off.
  11. hmm. just thought, they're gonna be 5 stud fitment, so wont fit nova's etc. Someone on here may know what other makes these will fit on, or you could contact wolfrace. Best bet is prob Ebay? The fact one needs a refurb will affect the selling price, but not to the degree where it's worth you paying for the refurb
  12. and theres two of them, both with owners called tony in your area! amazing!
  13. Could be worse.. my mate blew his charger within 12 hours of ownership. get yourself a G60 mate, then you'll feel the burn! sympathy is not something you'll find here!.. Empathy however...
  14. comes down the shaft a fair amount.. which was given to me with the car.. Should I be worried that the shaft is rotating when I tried to unscrew the knob?.. Must.. resist.. comment.. :gag:
  15. the centre cap may be slightly different, but they look like wolfrace urbanracers to me.clicky Value wise, i'd say you'd be hard pushed to get near £200 here, as they're not the most attractive wheels! no offence of course! However, they should be multifitment? you could try a chav car forum, they seem to go for these! HTH, and again, hope i haven't offended! :D
  16. There's actually two in bristol! common as muck! One on brynland ave, and another that hoons up park st. Saw a Pagani Zonda in london a couple of years ago, fairly rare. My boss has just sold his maserati 3200 assetto corsa, one of 75 limited edition - he's just upgraded to a quattroporte.
  17. I had a little blat with a CRX the other day, and wasn't far off, but the CRX was faster. my G's standard, with engine mods you should be even, or poss faster.
