  1. DPF & EGR delete and remap, about £450 but saves a shed load of hassle! Injector issues too, all common vag diesel issues.. I'm sick of em!
  2. The mk5 was static?! Good work!!
  3. Ergh.. Not what I wanted to hear! I'll get on the phone to Vince, just a lot more work trailering up there! Cheers Baz
  4. great stuff.. good to see this still going strong! Did vince just map the car or tweak anything else? Are you still happy with the loom work swict did? I'm about to commit to buying OEM ecu etc for mine and need to contact Mark about dropping it all off to do the conversion stuff. Happy with the bits he did before, but wasn't full conversion that time, just tidying the mess caused by the others!
  5. I'm a big fan of p zero nero's.
  6. Great news! I'm still making slow progress on the mk2 that needs selling to fund the rest of mine, so you're way ahead now! Look forward to seeing it somewhere sometime soon.
  7. GSF have 35% off today only with the code WOW35..
  8. As above. Can post, but mega money!
  9. No probs, would've cost more in fuel than postage anyway! Just double checked postage, it's still looking to be nearly £20 and I'd be worried about damage, but if you're really struggling let me know.
  10. If you can collect, you can have mine for £50.. It's probably a massive detour though!
  11. You'll never get a decent bond with the weight of the whole mirror hanging from the unset glue.. From memory they may have removed it for me. I know the place that did it, so I think I gave them a tenner for the tea kitty or something!
  12. Not sure about residue but.. Best bet for refitting is to glue the metal bit on its own first, leave 24 hrs and then attach the mirror. I took mine to a local screen fitters and got them to glue it as they use proper trade stuff.
  13. i've got a brand new one in the garage.. nearly sold it before but postage is an absolute killer due to length!
  14. You can bet it's on 12 year old tyres too.
  15. Looking great bud. I've got a feeling I still have the metal sunroof panel for the car in the garage. I have no idea of the condition as it'd be tucked at the back if its there, but if you want it I'll dig it out and post it up. It's the skin only, the mech was [unsurprisingly] knackered. The glass roof came out of a mk2 seat ibiza!
  16. +1.. longest lasting of anything i've used, but takes forever to get on in between lettering etc.
  17. Quick google stalk brought this up.. The interior is in a French mk2 golf, although I think its custom. Here's a video of it And here's the owners - Romuald Dubreuil - instagram https://instagram.com/romu12/ I'm off to update my security settings, that was far too easy!
  18. Hi guys! If Tan can collect, I won't stand in the way. If that's not possible, I would definitely like them and would arrange courier etc my end. Sound fair?
  19. I'll take them if still available please! Collection only or okay to post?
  20. Please let it be this! standard.. no side trim..
  21. The simple answers are: Raise car height. Bring wheels further in. Fit narrower tyres. Roll/flare arches. Which option or combination of options you do is up to you and depends on what 'look' you want from the car.
  22. That's not very true! Only VR's are 5 stud and late G60's did have facelift exterior, early interior.
  23. Firstly, no force was used against a person; it was a burglary not a robbery. My personal view is what was done was legally, ethically and morally wrong. Under no circumstance do you need to plan such a high scale/value burglary unless through greed. I have more admiration for someone with no money stealing food for their children. It's still not legally acceptable, but it's understandable. A few questions for myself.. Is it a fascinating burglary? Absolutely! If you are going to steal goods to that value is this the best way to do it? Yes! No one was physically hurt! Are the criminals clever to have pulled it off? Yes! Do I consider them morally worse than those that legally oppress the poor? Nope! Do I condone what they have done? No way!
  24. anyone heading up from Bristol/Southwest? Need a favour!
  25. Guys, OP is in Norway.. 1/2 leather was an option in mainland europe. Price wise, you're looking at £800 cloth £1000 leather in good condition over here, Could be £100 either way. Bad condition? Well depends what the costs of repair are!
