1. welcome to the forum.. i recognised the car straight away, shame to have one leave Bristol - Hopefully Dom's bought something exciting to replace it!
2. fitting? i'd expect a happy ending..
3. ibis millenium square will be your best bet.. may bit a bit late for good prices now though. otherwise travelodge, travelinn etc..
4. have you tried pricing it with a powerflow type place? my local place would charge me about £25 for that..
5. my bro and mates are heading down, I went to motion for the first time with him the other week.. Hes a photographer, so we were access all areas.. pretty cool hanging around in the DJ booth etc! Costume wise: Jagerbomber!
6. The car in the picture is a G60. Early J plate G60's came with early exterior / early interior. Late J plate G60's came with late exterior / early interior. My G60 was very crossover, with a slam panel with cutouts for both grills without needing to adapt the tabs.
7. I know exactly this feeling. The last time I really had 'fun' in a corrado was 2007. I'm nearly up to 5 years of hard graft, sorting things as and when I can afford to make improvements. The scary thing is i'm very very close to havign the car exactly how I want it, to the point where I'm happy to put up a build thread and show it of [oh and it's not the same one I had in 07.. ] but once i've done so I'm now already thinking of selling. The scary thing is, even in my head, thinking I'll sell the car and go back to something nice but suitable for leaving outside the house, I come back to a VR6. sh!t.. I'm trapped. I'm a CNUT and need help :(
8. Cool, I'm away this weekend but could come after school one day or next weekend?
9. Could be worth a try, only thing I'm concerned with is getting a good finish around the front curved edge. If I'm going to make some to sell they need to be perfect..
10. Hmm.. I don't think they're the right colour. Andy do you have the spoiler module too, could come up and check an at least it wouldn't be a wasted journey if I can get that..
11. I've got two, I'll check them tomorrow eve, can you pm me tomorrow to remind me?
12. more then welcome any time you're down this way bud..
13. beige or black late sunroof switch black handbrake handle dark burgundy pearl touch up stick [lc3u] brake line clips broken or very cheap VR6 maf sensor Local to Bristol or priced including postage. Cheers then Baz
14. The standard bay looks so good when its clean.. good work guys.
15. You could be spending £300 per month on a personal contract plan on a new car and not even owning it at the end. £700 per year isn't too bad for maintenance on any car, but if you want to drive a 20 year old car you will have to spend money on it.
16. That sounds great.. Would need to know a few days in advance normally to arrange collection etc, but could defo see it working. Jay, you're in Bristol today? Wanna come sort my electrics?? Ha!
17. K plate something dark 16v on fishponds rd last night..
18. Does anyone have an idea as to where I can find definitions for wiring colours for Corrado and MK3 golf electric window switches? I'm guessing I could find the MK3 information from a Haynes manual but is there anything online? Corrado stuff I'm not even gonna find in a manual unless someone has a Bentley they can check for me please? Cheers Baz
19. I dont understand why so many people are saying dont buy a corrado!? If someone was saying I want to buy the fastest corrado i can - which one should i choose? The reply wouldnt be 'buy a ferrari, they're faster'! It would be G60!!:dance:
20. yeah if he's not had the decency to stop then f**k him.. if he'd knocked on the door been apologetic and offered cash there and then it would be different. sorry to hear about the bad luck bud.. hope it doesnt come in threes!
