Corrado Dealers , Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Any locals?
bristolbaron replied to kvwloon's topic in Suppliers Forum
That's basically everything that I was going to say! I'd stay well clear of that one unless the points raised in the original ebay ad have been cleared up.. I'm guessing by the fact he's had it so long means probably not.. Check this thread.. -
impact gun is the way forward..
-
hmm.. dont start that one! depends how small a small budget is.. either could end up costing you lots in maintenance if you go for a low end one. At the moment i think you get a lot more choice with a low end VR though, but personally would say don't rule out a valver. ---------- Post added at 7:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:06 PM ---------- Oh, and welcome!

urgh.. that stance is offensive!

why would you not buy these? http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?67509-4x-BBS-Alloy-wheels-and-tyres-%285-stud%29 much nicer than both!?
-
Contact this guy! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?53062-BBS-RX-alloy-wheels id have had them myself, but have too many wheels already. love them though - heres my old ones..
-
Bingo! Buy these quick!!! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?67509-4x-BBS-Alloy-wheels-and-tyres-%285-stud%29

lovely.. how do you get on with the 50 profile tyres? 45 would be better suited on a 16?
-
Corrado virgin, is the storm edition worth the extra premium?
bristolbaron replied to maximusiv's topic in General Car Chat
as above, look for the best vr you can find. im going to look for a storm next though as i plan on owning the next one a long time and like the idea of it being the highest model. -
if you had plain cloth id say try and find leathers, but recaro cloth is a different story. better in summer, better in winter and grippier.. theres no way i'd change.

Measure the centre caps, they may be the same size as Porsche caps, 76mm iirc.
-
Early cars didn't have that bracket anyway. Realistically a better design would be something where the speaker is mounted to the door and the pod just acts as a cover. However with my doors fully dynamatted and screwed as yours I'm pretty happy with the sound quality. I think spoonfed offer a better option but so expensive to import..
-
All correct.. Have you just mounted using only original screws/positions? Most people use about 8 screws per side because of the weight..
-
Amended..
-
Still after this, don't really wanna butcher a new one!
-
Itll be a 2.0 engine bud.. Sounds good though, looking forward to pics
-
depends if you use a golf g60 i/c or rallye. g60 will go in as above, rallye is a little bit longer so you have to cut off the towing eye. advantage of rallye is being able to use a massive radiator, but imo would go with the g60..
-
great stuff! all the best for the season..
-
How much are the wheels bud?
-
I wouldn't say resale should be a deciding factor, there's probably very little in it. I think a lot of people would snap up an R32 but a vr could be put back to standard more easily if necessary.
-
Considering the cost of a full oe look silicone kit it's well worth making the change. I wouldn't even bother waiting for the old ones to perish, there's enough that have already gone to know the rest will go soon!
-
where do these go? drivers door shut?
-
/end thread.

I'm amazed this R32 motor even runs....
