    that sounds brilliant.. can you give more info about what else is on offer/available if a meet were to take place? is it free to wander around? can club members use cafe/drinks/toilets etc? if a group of us wanted to take part in a driving experience are there offers available? A friend of mine came for a business meeting the other day and was very impressed with what you have to offer. I'd be well up for a meet & wander round..

    I bought an 8v without any intention too, but one came up locally and I couldn't say no. I ran it daily for a few months before it got passed on to it's new owner, who's on here and as far as i know is still running it as a daily. Great car, I loved it and compared to my old 1.8 16v was far superior in every way. Baz.

    I still have a P77.. great unit, sound quality so much better than anything i had before. I'll be running it with a genesis profile 5, genesis 12" & JL C5-650x 's.. Most of it is pretty old kit now, but quality wise isn't too shabby.. Looking forward to seeing what you get together.. Baz

    only thing putting me of s3/4 is i had an a3 1.8t quattro and i spend nearly a grand sorting out a rough idle and suspension knock. there are so many things that will be worn on a car of my budget its really offputting to know how much it could need spending on it. sure, its the same for any car, but prices are insane.

    im in this sort of predicament at the moment, I have an expensive rado sat in a rented garage costing me money on rent, tax, mot etc even before its used. I'm running a cheap polo as a daily. my plan is to sell both and buy an >£6k car i can leave out on the road. Im looking at loads of options and cant get my head around what i want: S4/S6 avant 330/530 tourer or Passat/a4/a6 tdi avant plus: Tidy VR6 s2k 350z skyline sylvia S3 And so on!

    Bristol is hit and miss, I had an account set up for me when they found out I stopped working at a main dealer as I was previously using their account. Most of the guys there are very good, but a couple don't see me as 'proper trade' and I'm sure would rather not have my business. To be honest though the discounts arnt much better than you get from a main dealers if you're a regular!

    argh! i've been after a set of eta beta for forever.. yours and dubenvy's are the only sets i know about. i've just bought a different set of wheels, but if i can work out getting some cash together before someone else gets in there i'd take these at asking price. are you in a hurry to sell?
