  1. I'm a bit disapointed about the lack of an 'I like ham' option, so in this instance would go NO.
  2. would also be very interested to know if theyre original LM's.. sadly very unlikely though.
  3. I've been over to shows in belgium & holland a few times now and have only ever put a gb sticker on the car.. dont get pulled over or brake down and you wont need any of the other bits! my main advice would be to get the eurotunnel not a ferry. its much more car friendly and so much quicker. there are no tolls on the road to belgium. I went to Brussels a few years ago with the mrs and we spent a day in Brugge. Both of us found it really boring compared to brussels and Antwerp.. however, there is a cafe which does the most amazing hot chocolate of anywhere.. check out De Proeverie when you're there.
  4. nightmare! hopefully something can be done with it, Im not sure id hold much hope though - as you said, time to find out how good your ins'co is.. would have a long soak and hot & cold compresses for the neck and get to docs asap. at the end of the day though, no matter how attached you've become to the car, at least you're not majorly hurt and it wasn't the VR!! Good luck with sorting it all.
  5. good work.. looks like you've got yourself some nice high end custom! do you mind me asking what sort of prices & timescales you work to?
  6. driving with fog lights on when its not foggy.. even worse when accompanied by sidelights..
  7. Theres already a thread going for members pics.. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=23052 no car pics to go with it though, so think this should live..
  8. Next time you're out for a drive have a look for any car the same reg as yours.. theres not many pre 95 anythings left anymore, so unsurprising its rare to spot anoth Rado these days..
  9. The 3200 is a seriously bad idea.. my old boss had one, and it was a great car, but the cost of repairs/service is insane.. What size of car do you want? S2k/Elise/Z3M Coupe all great small cars S3 for hatchback M3/S4/Mitzi Evo for Saloon S8 for the big dogs..
  10. Was the 90 amp used on anything else? I've got a feeling i need a replacement but still have some checks to do..
  11. I would imagine if you get married that your future husband would have no issues with it!
  12. just watched shutter island. 2/10.. terrible film.
  13. Amen. I'm in the exact same situation as you, just wished i lived closer to G-werks so I can drive in and have the charger rebuilt. Guess i'll be cycling to work for a while some time soon :( Takes about 2-2.5 hours to drive to Gwerks.. I drove down there first time mine was done. Leave at 7.30, Get there for 10am.. See the snack man, make the boys a cuppa and stop past gun wharf in Portsmouth on the way home to buy cheap stuff! Perfect day!
  14. Cool.. you can remove step 3 then! Theres no need to remove the three fins.. Its unlikely this would be done unless asked for.. but yes, stage 5 is the one to go for. Standard forum discount with Gwerks is 5% on all parts and service work, but i'd make contact and see if they'll do a deal because of the amount you'd be buying..
  15. 1. Send charger to Gwerks for full blend service 2. Order rsr outlet, 65 or 68mm pulley and chip from Gwerks 3. Order full stainless exhaust and Decat from Gwerks 4. Ask for forum discount on the whole lot 5. Refit everything once it's returned 6. Drive 500 miles off boost to bed the charger in 7. Find a 'private' road 8. Floor it! 9. Try and wipe that stupid smile of your face..
  16. just used autoglym intensive tar remover on some old sticky stuff and its brilliant!
  17. I'm thinking I need to invest in a jump pack.. Does anyone have one they recommend? I'm thinking Halfords are worth a try as I have a trade card, however all suggestions welcome!
  18. Typical! My friend Mary put a cat in the bin the other day!
  19. Personally i'd quite like to see the whole stig thing come to an end.. I've known for a few years now that there is definatley more than one stig and that the majority of high end manufacturers insist on thier own driver - this was the issue with getting the first veyron on the track for ages.. There is however one 'offical' stig used more than most and this is very likely to be the driver named across the media. It is very disapointing that he didnt out himself through topgear, giving the programme the choice of how it should happen. I would like to see the more informative side of the show coming back, with a test driver taking the cars to the edge and then reporting back - Sabine would be my top choice for this. The end of seeing fat blokes at car shows with 'i am the stig' tshirts would be welcome too!
  20. i wouldnt bother breaking a mk3 tbh..
  21. Strange I could have sworn both of mine were wide angle - will have to go and check now.... our passenger side one is useless on mine..
  22. here you go.. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=96039
