  1. Rucksack type baby carrier thingy, can be used from the point that your baby can support it's own neck, it has a number of pouches and pockets etc making it a really useful bit of kit when you're out and about. The carrier is in fantastic condition, pics to come! £40
  2. No probs, pm me your address and I'll send them when I can find time to pop to the post office :)
  3. Hi all, just having a sort through some boxes in my garage and found these two, both have been stashed away for a number of years so could do with a clean up but it seems wrong to dump them so I thought I'd offer them on here for the price of postage, they're both from a late corrado. Mods, I posted in here because he items are free and I've got a beige parcel shelf I'm about to post in the classifieds which will take my 1 allocated advert!
  4. Must be weird, you've had it a long while! What's next?
  5. Yeah I'm on the north coast near Newquay, where's the car mate?
  6. Agree with the above, an unfortunate situation but the car is 15+ years old so I'm afraid he has to take it on the chin.
  7. They're funny cars for sure, I've had various rados over the last 10 years or so, tried on numerous occasions to sell up and move on but each time there's a little niggle in the back of my head telling me to get another! My wife is worse than me in that she flat refuses to be without one now, she will NEVER sell her current 8v even though she could afford something a lot newer/faster etc etc. She regularly commutes from here in Cornwall up to Bristol and back in a day and she relishes the thought of the drive - to coin an old Vauxhall phrase, once driven forever smitten.
  8. Mrs W's 96 8v (ady) on 87k miles was rr'd recently at 121bhp, a whopping 6bhp over standard!
  9. I'm not sure you'd make a lot of money to be fair, especially nowadays - hence you don't see people who used to do exactly what you're describing like 'bigpantsbaby' on here much any more.
  10. Yip, mines bog standard and staying that way.
  11. Thing is though jim, I don't think g-werks would be too bothered really. As much as they built the business from servicing G-laders I really don't think there's enough profit on them to make it worthwhile. Rebuild kits aren't cheap even in bulk, by the time you add in man hours to do he work, messing about with postage, the risk of the chargers blowing etc etc it's not worth it I spose, they probably make double the amount they make from a charger rebuild by just drop shipping one set of KWs or selling one set of scene wheels - plus the fact that G60 powered cars are dropping in numbers by the day so there's not exactly much future in it, so I spose a slightly damaged rep on here wouldn't particularly bother gwerks when they're making their money on other products in other markets.
  12. I think that pretty much sums it up mate, it's the same reason I never bothered posting about it, i just stopped recommending them.
  13. Nothing new here tbh, I gave up recommending g-werks a couple of years ago after they messed around the third person in a row that I'd put their way - it seemed like all I would hear offline was tales of terrible service and stuck up attitudes towards customers who weren't considered cool enough to be worth bothering with yet all you'd read online was that gwerks were the company to use. Seems a real shame as gwerks used to be the only company you could really trust with your G- lader :( EDIT - it may help anyone struggling to get a response to try looking on e38 and sending a pm on there, that's how my mate managed to get contact a while back .
  14. Sorry for the delay, the box is from a golf V5, it was fairly straight forward to fit but apparently the gearing might not be ideal for an everyday road car as it's too short, might be worth looking into playing with the final drive though.
  15. Pretty sure the box was from a V5, it needed a couple of slight mods to fit but was well worth, it turned the vr6 into a completely different beast. I'll check what box it was later and post up.

    VR6 Badges

I've got an original vr6 grill badge somewhere in my garage If anyone's interested?
  17. I recently drove a vr6 with a gearbox from a later vr engine (not sure which one but I can find out) and I could not believe the difference it made, the thing was an animal, stock engine too. It really highlighted how much the gear box holds back the rado. If I had a vr6 the first thing I'd be doing is changing the box.
  18. Not to mention the effect it would have on the dog! Think very carefully about whether it's the right thing to do, puppy's are very hard work and hugely demanding and they certainly shouldnt be left alone for any length of time (1 hour per month of age) it's a big commitment which is why you see so many needing new homes at 10 months! As for food, buy a good quality dry food - I have a 7 month old staff pup and she's been on Hills science plan from when we got her home at 9 weeks and she's in peak condition so I'd recommend it although it's quite expensive. Regarding chewing, give the dog plenty of chewy toys to help with teething - if a dog is chewing stuff around the house like chairs etc then it's basically not getting enough excersise or stimulation - get it out more!
  19. If I was in the Market for a g60 I'd be looking at beavisjems black one in the classifieds at the moment. There are certainly de net corrados left, they're just more difficult to find meaning more viewings and travelling further to picka goodie. As for rust, i live literally on the coast in c ---------- Post added at 08:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:48 AM ---------- Bloody iPod! .....ornwall and I bough my rado from Bornmouth(sp?) and the next to no rust on it at all, it just depends on how they've been treated through the years.
  20. Meh, I'm allowed a bit of artistic license when it comes to spelling in French! :tonguesmilie-while we're at it, where the hell have they all gone?: And yes the problem was always that the 'no PM' rule was un-enforceable and relied on sellers ignoring PM's which didn't often happen, bring back the old format and apply the same rules as there are currently (i.e let people just get on with it so the Mods have no involvement or responsibility other than to approve the ads)
  21. Having sat on both sides of the fence I can see both points of view, but I have to admit that Im not a fan of the new system and I dont bother looking at the classifieds now. I think the problems were mainly down to the 'no PM' rule rather than the format, I dont think the new system helps with the current lack of community feel that there seems to be on here tbh, its definitely lost a certain 'ju na se qua' :camp:
  22. You've clearly never been in one, they're lethal  Mine was giving 160bhp with a chip/pulley, cam etc etc and it weighed circa 750kg, insanely quick but bugger me the brakes were awful, and every time I closed the door it was a reminder of just how flimsy it was! Amazing fun though and i'd LOVE another one to play with.
