  1. not the oil warning buzzer is it?...i've never had mine come on so couldn't tell you where it comes from and what its like ! I'd have thought it would come from the dash area though...
  2. Yeah...very true, but at least you don't get the old..." its not my fault..its their's " typa thing...if you buy an exhaust then take it to an independant fitter there's more risk of a bad fit than if you take it to somewhere that make their own exhaust up in my humble opinion. :D
  3. LOL..to get a deffinative anwer, you'd have to have EVERY type of exhaust on the same car , and keep them all on there for a while to see how they do...
  4. Blue_Joe, LOL..great minds eh?
  5. Have you seen the g-werks ones mate?...may be worth enquiring . I've found it's better to get a custom made exhaust fitted to your car as you then don't have problems with bad fitting. At the risk of turning this into another ' what exhaust ' thread...is there a Longlife near you?...awesome exhausts.
  6. Ill give you £9.43? Dunno...I just clicked an it played... ...what he said....
  7. maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I miss my raddo... http://www.corrado-club.ca/media/CorradoCommercial.mp4
  8. I took them off my raddo's, never had any problems, although I have heard of people having bad experiences with getting them off, or finding hidden nasties underneath.......but like i say, I've done it on 3 raddo's and it went fine every time. It makes a huge difference to the looks of the car if you ask me, its a DEFFINATE as far as i'm concerned, and i've not recieved a parking dink without them either...I think it mainly stops you catching the edge of your door when you open it, the strips poke out a bit. Either that or colour code your mouldings.
  9. Andy665, i really appreciate that, I just messaged the seller and he's in Plymouth untill Friday on business  ...I'm thinking it's looking really nice and straight, so if I haven't found an alternative by then ill just bite the bullet and go get it.

    Car swap!

Sounds really nice... It's funny isn't it, how even based on a description that only contains 4 words, a colour, an age and a mileage, you automatically assume that it's a nice car. I did the same.. The default instinct is to assume it's a minter or something.. Weird.. eeerr...i'd say that it sounds really nice because its a nice dark colour, a 1995 which makes it one of the newest you can get, and it's on 91k, which is low mileage nowadays for a valver....and yeah it's just an assumption :D , and I certaily wouldn't offer to buy/swap my car with someone based on it!..but it sounds better than " it's an 1989 red valver on 250k miles and its a bit bent but still goes ok ". :D

    Car swap!

Sounds really nice...nice low mileage aswell, maybe someone will have had enough of the running costs of their vr6, maybe put a wanted post up in the wanted section?

    Car swap!

I tell you what mate, you have my steak, and i'll have your burger  I reckon you might have to throw a few quid in with your valver mate, unless of course it's absolutely mint, and the vr6 you get is a bit of a dog.
  13. it's pretty small...and it's driving up his arm.....
  14. exactly  , the only 'tone' in here is from r4daylee, no-ones implied that he is anything other than an un-informed seller, no crime in that, and it sounds and looks (( from the advert )) like you got yourself a bloody good buy!!.. :D enjoy!. :D
  15. Chill r4daylee, . I think it was me who used the phrase " dodgy car salesman "..and if you look back you'll see that the context it was used in wasn't saying or implying that you are a dodgy car salesman....I said to double-6s before he had met you and seen the car that if he did meet you and you were a dodgy car dealer and the car wasn't as described then don't let a bad feedback mark push him into buying the car....as it was , he went and met you, saw the car, and has been over the moon ever since. And it also seems that you have another well priced raddo , and offering a 12 month warrenty is great (( some might say brave with regards to a corrado  )) So, no-one's called you a dodgy car salesman that I've read . :)
  16. yeah...but half an hour away is too far dude!..if I can't find anyone nearer ill risk it...it looks pretty clean to be honest...
  17. Anyone live there or near there and fancy earning themself a bit of beer money??? :-P
  18. Am I to deduce from this that the gt2 is not worth bothering with?...i'm not looking for speed, just reliablity, thats my main concern. I've seen a gt2 advertissed fairly locally (( 50 miles away )) with 90k miles, f/s/h , all original handbooks etc, 3 owners in silver for oly £750, is it worth having a look?>
  19. Also , it may be worth trying a quote with your mum or girlfriend added as a second driver, sometimes that makes it cheaper.

    FECK

Nice one Blair, I can only assume that the reason I sold both my car and the headunit and changer i had for sale this weekend is that its the end of the month(( payday )) and people have the cash.
  21. hi mate. (( delete ur other thread ! )) Sounds like a slight miss-fire, maybe you should give the car a bit of a service if you haven't in a while, replace the plugs and leads and do an oil change...see if that helps. The oil temps seem slightly high but nothing major, the 110 in traffic is unusuall though i think, if an oil filter change does no good maybe you could think about changing the oil cooler?.
  22. where's veedubraddo with his photoshopping when you need him... lol
