i'm not sure I understand the question mate? Are you saying that you've put the two kits together and now you can't tell who's is who's?. Or are you asking if there's any difference between vr6 and g60 suspension?.

yeah, like i said, that doesn't include any repairs, and that's cettainly not what my local VW dealers would charge.. and also..im in Cardiff...I would expect it to be a bit more expensive in London???

it doesn't sound cheap...but it does for a vw dealer. The place that does any painting ive had done charge £80 a pannel if that helps. EDIT-- thats not for a repair aswell though... :D

My mate sold his stunning g60 a few months back and bought an L plate M3, I've been in it and it certainly goes like fook, but there's just no personality to them like there is with raddo's, and every other VW for that matter. Not my cuppa.

Yeah, I've got mk4 claipers, every raddo i've owned has had knackered calipers.

I would have thought it would be the rad fan switch mate...although Im not very good with the Vr6 as i've never had one so there may not be one :lol: (( I would have thought there is though )) It basically tells the fan when the engines hot enough to turn the fan on, and cold enough to turn it off... It'll be located in the Rad, They are cheap and easy to replace. Oh...and welcome to raddo ownership and the forum :D EDIT-- Was 3 mins rapid enough?

ETKA is the program used by the parts monkeys at VAG, it lists in detail all the part numbers etc of all VAG cars. :D

you can buy the blue thingymajigs from vag for about 30p each.

yeah ..you can get p reg raddos...not many of them though. I was told that my ADY 8v was one of the last made for the UK market.

...sounds like a bit of a catch 22 then dude...you can't expect to sell a car that needs alot of engine work for top money....especially when it's not a very good time for selling g60's anyway, :(

nah..i reckon it's gotta be worth a bit more than that with the leather etc... I would say that it's probebly worth getting the engine problems sorted, then you'd get a more realistic price.

I think it's if you're doing double the limit you loose your licence? EDIT-- or over 100mph..automatic ban..

How long is a piece of string? :lol: It's pretty hard to tell how much your car is worth mate...you've not really given much info on it...tell us the mileage,interior condition,paintwork condition, wheel spec etc.. that could help. It's a difficult one at the moment aswell. They say a car is only worth what people are prepared to pay for it, and it seems that at the momment thats not very much when it comes to g60's and vr6's. Strangley it's valvers that seem to be holding their value nowadays, i assume its a fuel price thing, but i've seen valvers in the same sorta condition as my g60 being sold for more than i'm asking, which would never have been the case even a few months back. As ballpark figure, my g60 is up for sale with a slightly shabby interior and a few marks here and there but nothing serious on the paintwork , the engine is running perfectly and the charger is blowing fine (( was rebuilt 15k ago but i have no paperwork like you )) and im asking for £2300.

Cool. Ive had to change the plastic housing on the side of the head in all three of my 8v raddo's due to them leaking. Its a crappy plastic part, only a few quid to change, fingers crossed it'l be something like that. :D

..unless of course it's pouring out!!!> (( or p1ssing out of it's arse as my mate puts it so nicely :roll: ))
