im fairly certain that theres no difference between any of the bodyparts on a vr6 and any late raddo. As for the doors as far as i know you can fit a late door on a early car or vice versa..... :scratch: had'nt noticed a difference?

the vr doesnt have different wings to a late 16v does it?

ok...for future reference ive narrowed it down to the drivers door handle being the culprit as ive also had probs with the elec windows. There's far too much play in the barrel when i turn the key so im pretty sure that i'm pulling the key out and leaving the barrel in the wrong position. this would give reason to why i'm having door and window closure problems. :mad:

fairly easy on the 8v...not sure about the 16v but it should be fairly simple...u just need a large socket.....its doing it wothout loosing loads of coolant is the trick..... and byr the way.....do it when the cars cold ....you wouldnt want a face full of coolant :wink:

i agree......perhapsa small drop is in order...but other than that its the way god intended.

have you changed the fan thermo switch mate??...that might explain why it didnt turn on hence the water temp got too high.

ahhh..that might be it Andi, unfortunatly that doesnt count for sh1t dude....i was a taxi driver for 7 years on a fleet policy..i was doing around 50k a year for 7 years with no accidents/claims and i still havent got any NCB....its stupid but thats the way it is!.... at the ripe old age of 25 i was paying 1200 to insure an 8v raddo!.

why does no-one think of the BORA in these situations then???. i think if i was to go a more sensible route than a corrado BORA would be on my list of test drives!.
