  1. not from the factory unless special order and even then tbh rare as hens teeth..............i used to have an early 944 turbo a 87D-plate 220bhp version........it was fast enough but just too refined to me............in fact i prefered how the ur-quattro drove with 20bhp less..... though tbh i never drove the later 250bhp 944 Turbo
  2. i'm sure jim at star can handle sorting these 2 out........the 968's achilles heel seemingly is the cam timing(Variocam) as it can jump a tooth or two whereas the 944 Turbo is relatively simple-ish.......its only an 8v 4 pot in either 220bhp or 250bhp flavours as standard both being 2.5litres if you can i would try and see if you could drive LHD.........cos the E-30 M3 is meant to be a total driver's car......which i reckon would suit yer driving to a T
  3. i must admit it is in V good condition for it age and miles which look to be genuine too.........its been VW-serviced til 65k miles(HPi certificate too and all previous MOT's) and the owner took over servicing,he's owned it for just over 3 years and replaced the brakes (front and rear) recently too as well as new shocks all round, all the panels look straight with no visible signs of being painted although there are a few wee scratches(1 on rear panel,1 on driver-side wing and one on the rear bumper) also there are a few stonechips on the bonnet (which have been painted using a touch-up stick so look more purple than the actual paint).....inside the leather is unmarked bar the driver's door-card but its just looks to be dirty as opposed to buggered.........the engine starts up quietly and has clean oil just short of the max mark which tends to give the impression it has been well-looked after, the only problem i see under the bonnet and this is just cosmetically is the alloy surfaces have the powdery residue that sometimes happens to alloy surfaces near sea-air locations.........though tbh its about 10 miles-ish inland...............the wheels are ok but they have some minor kerb damage to them but he still has the original solitudes too which he told me he had just had refurbed...though he never showed them to me...........as i'm not buying it i declined to take it for a test drive so as not to waste the vendors time.....and also cos its about 1/2 mile up a rough road etc...........now the only thing that is gonna be a problem is the vendor's price.......i asked him what sort of price he'd go down to and he replied £9k........even after me telling him that thats easy £1500-£2k OTT........but he's reckoning on the fact it being a storm etc that its worth that..........
  4. well went along and had a look for lord neil and took some pictures too.....so here they are
  5. tbh given that you have a 1.8 16v and the bentley really only covers the engines and associated running gear of the G60 and VR6......though all the trim/common Corrado parts are covered etc............you're best bet is the Lyndsay Porter manual.......also cheaper too......but don't pay over £10 for one....
  6. just phone your local Mazda dealer and tell them the year and model of MX5......tbh i reckon they'll(all MX5's that is) all be the same
  7. i'm stuck with how best to describe offset too.....and i'm stone cold sober.....though a bit tired
  8. PCD is the Pitch Circle Diameter IIRC.......... in other words the spacing that the holes for wheel nuts/bolts are.....eg VW Corrado VR6 is 5(holes)x 100mm(space between holes) aka 5x100PCD Corrado 8v,16v and G60 are 4x100PCD
  9. as long as the PCD is the same as mazda's and the offset also matches........then they should be ok........tbh i doubt they will but you never know
  10. please keep this to your existing thread re FK discounts

  12. sounds to me like the aux coolant pump too......mine went a couple of years ago........but not too badly and thankfully under warranty......i noticed pools of water on top of the G/box first thing in the morning when mine had gone
  13. tbh i reckon its the same size........70litres....its just an american gallon is smaller than an imperial gallon that we "use" over here
  14. it'll be 18 US gallons.....which are smaller than our UK gallon..........so in other words it'll have the same size tank as we have but different marking on the guages...........i really need to get out more methinks
  15. yip missing it completely mate.............
  16. i just clean mine with soapy(cheap car wash liquid) hot water everyday.........that way u don't have to worry about brake dust accumulating...........and all u need is a suitable container or bucket to keep a sponge in...........and either fill it up or fill up a 2L bottle of juice with the hot soapy water......all it takes is 10 mins tops
  17. moi???? ........anyway....u aint answered my Q
  18. anybody spot the "bigger" fuel tank guage.....or is it  answers on a postcard boys
  19. shameless plug there....LOL :D :D :D but very true
  20. mind its from a dealer tho......so i'd say £8k would be top whack for them to price it.....and then room for them to move down etc
  21. tbh much as i'm not a fan of the RS2 bumper.......i prefer that to the oetinger kit
  22. FFS....i paid £1k more for mine with 38k miles on it......3 YEARS ago!!!!!
