-
3 little letters................BBS

tbh the 4-stud RX2's are a wee bit rarer than the 5-stud version......so generally when they do come up they go for a bit more.............ive seen a few sets of 5-stud RX2's advertised for around the £300-£350 mark......obviously needing some sort of refurbishment and normally in need of tyres in the next couple of thousand miles
-
Porsche also designed Tank turrets for a certain Mr Hitler a few years back too :-P
-
should only be very minor differences if any...........as they will both be covering the 1.8 16v and G60
-
'bout time i showed mine i suppose :D :-P

seen both.......and have a milltek on mine and must admit.......i prefer the magnex over the milltek looks wise....and also IMO the magnex is the quieter sounding..........nowt wrong with the milltek tho......just not quite as nice looking IMO

ive never heard of there being mystic blue valvers or other non-storm C's being mystic blue from the factory...........if there are any........i would imagine them being rare as hens teeth

Barbie Tm pink   :?: -
average quality coil-overs will just be that...........average quality........ok they should have the advantage of being able to alter the height of the car and/or adjust the damping.....but if you get a good quality suspension set up using good quality components etc......then IMO thats a better deal than buying average coilovers
-
if its just the laquer peeling off and the metal isn't rusting away........and providing of course you don't mind it looking a rough-ish......then i would just coat it with either touch-up paint-laquer or clear nail varnish....obviously from yer missus/g-f/bird etc that way you protect the paint/body while you save up for a re-spray
-
but the FTO is a different beast from the GTO steve mentions Henny........FTO's are FWD and the GTO's are 4wd IIRC.......or where you meaning you were dithering between going vee-dub over mitsu :D
-
Surprisingly not very quick - unless you go for one of the later Evo's Mitsubishi GTO for me 8) didn't have you down as a ricer steve :-P Used to run a 300ZX twin turbo  must admit........did use to hanker for one of them......in the good'ol days   :-P

good quality coilovers will be just over the £500 mark tbh
-
always worthwhile checking to see if the fuses are securely fitted and likewise the relays too

must be an american thing then.....cos ALL factory-fitted leather in UK Corrado's was heated
-
they are cheap to service......its just to repair they are the stuff of nightmares   .....i also had to replace the clutch on mine.....well on the A/C compresser that is    .........£400-ish later and lighter............the annoying thing too is that you can't re-route the A/C or just do away with it........cos the alt belt is also the same belt that the A/C uses
-
na it was just water...........the car is deffo overpriced but at the same time it is a good clean and very tidy example...........just the pricing that is OTT
-
Millionaire farmers in that area - combine harvesters with gps, etc. I knew the son of one - he was so stingy tho' that he ran his early Golf diesel on "red" fuel from the farm. Lewis Grassic-Gibbons novels were set in the area (The Mearns) - lots of weirdo country characters. Maybe some inbred twerp will buy! in fact the car is only 1 mile away from the grassic-gibbons visitor centre.............but no need for the offensive comments on the ppl from that area
-
just make sure its the later 250bhp version....cos 88 was crossover point
