well my storm goes into the MoT station tomorrow :? :roll: .........so dunno if its going to be 3 in row pass wise......hopefully it should be but reckon my brake lines are past their best......had an advisory about them 2 years ago :wink: :roll: ........but it sailed through last year so couldn't have been too bad :wink: .........although my MoT aint due til the middle of August......i'm taking advantage of the 13 month certificate :wink:......so fingers crossed

ahhhh.......that'll explain the VSE ending of the number plate.............if its the same one you mean paul.......i remember seeing it about the aberdeen and peterhead area too.....about 2 years ago

I thought all 94 cars had factory immobilisers - unless you bypassed or removed it yourself? i think the factory immobiliser was in the ECU and as Phat is using the ECU from the engine that he had previously in another motor it shouldn't be a factor

you checked the ECU relay or fuel pump relay?? also worth checking all the fuses too

try doing a search using the keywords G60 and running problems :wink: .......failing that i'm pretty sure henny/stevemac/g-man/16VG60 etc will be along with their very wise words of advice

wonder if any of you peeps thats in the know(or have ETKA) :wink: ......can tell me if its possible to use the cooling fan motor from a VR6 without too much modification.....if any...... to fit a H-plate 1.8 16v?????............. just got a spare one(but ideally would prefer to keep it in my spares :wink: ) lying about and know of someone who is needing a new fan-motor in their 1.8 16v and if its easy enough to fit then would help them out :wink:

AFAIK ALL Corrados had the chrome badges front and rear.......black badges are in fact a late mk2 GTi styling cue

the station-wagon/estate/shooting brake just reminds me of the 944's a german company used to convert to estate form in the late 80's early 90's.......totally mad :-P

no G60 expert.....but IIRC there is a bit of tubing that has to be 1m long......if its not or if its damaged then it causes all sorts of running probs........also it could be a dodgy coolant sensor........but again IIRC this is more noticable trying to start etc i'm sure henny,g-man,stevemac et al will be able to point you in the right direction :wink:
