good question Roy........for the life of me i can't remember    .......50/50 as a stab in the dark......as mine was a pre-TOR-SEN diff version........
-
the one Yallan posted was the "normal" ur-quattro turbo...........the shorter one(not the dialynx one btw) is the quattro sport(don't get confused with the 80 sport btw) which was their Gruppe B rallye car..........which was in very very limited numbers and had a 308bhp(iirc) version of the 20v engine a good 4+ years before ur-quattro 20v production

WHERE CAN I BUY SOME TYRES & FITTED FOR MY VR- PREF IN K
vr6storm replied to samm_cvr6's topic in Suppliers Forum
standard tyre size on the VR rims is 205/50/VR15.....55's would be too chunky looking.....and if you go down to 195's you can run the risk of you're insurance voiding any claim you have if you are in an accident -
bet its tuned by a ferrari mechanic again
-
they didn't make them that late.............just some weren't registered til August 1996(P-plate) as all Corrado production stopped in July 1995

As peeps have said, it's not REALLY modding it fitting aircon, I don't think there'd be anything that couldn't be returned to original if I did it, and if there was I probably wouldn't do it. It's the same with the steering wheel and gearknob, as these are items that are getting lots of wear and I would prefer them to be in top condition than worn out by being used too much. I've got a huge stereo install in the boot as well, but again that's all removable. As for "dropping in value". Doubt it, and as I don't intend selling, I don't really care. well if i was lucky enough to have a campaign.............i would keep it looking near factory but i'd still have my schrick fitted as long as the A/C install is done professionally and means no visible hacking about the dash etc then i would say that it wouldn't be a bad thing to do and would more than likely keep it looking near factory too

i would say Fat Tony's one looks better as it looks more like its fresh from the factory and is more original than that one.........and its almost £1500 cheaper with 60k less miles!

thats what sold me my Koni's...........heard their warranty is second to none

She's an 8v mate - 129k on the clock...... any advice? oppps, forgot ........... Vehicle details Manufacturer Volkswagen Model GOLF GTI Body type 3 door hatchback Colour Grey Fuel type Petrol Date manufactured 31 December 1990 Number of previous owners 6 Last owner change 27 April 2002 btw ignore this bit in bold.........its a quirk of the RAC site......for some reason the bulk of older cars they have listed seem to be date of manufacture 31/12/XXXX

-
might make a difference with our VR6's being ABV 2.9's and having 190bhp as standard tho versus the N.American markets AAA 2.8's 176bhp........
