Absolutely amazing work bud! Expect an offer if I ever win the lottery!
-
Absolute stunner. Not many left like this now!
-
Is it a 172?
-
I bet this is the best unseen VR on the forum! More pictures please Adrian once its out!
-
Heres a pic from when I owned it. Think this was just after id painted the bonnet and bumper.
-
Get someone to armourfend the bonnet leading edge. They are nigh on invisible nowadays.
-

-

They all go on the sill there. When I owned OSV that exact area needed welding. -
Theres a grey one on PH with 89,000 miles.
-
Not a fan. Absolutely done to death. Not on Corrados mind you.
-
I don't blame you for wanting to. The chains can be very quiet but it's usually the tensioners that wear. Fit a new clutch and flywheel while it's all apart.
-
What a minter. Looks so fresh still. Whereabouts in Brum are you? I only live just off the A45 by Wheelmania myself.
-
In the time I owned OSV it had a Clifford, Disklock and wheel clamp. I was paranoid leaving it at home on the drive all week while I was working.
-
I sold a Golf Rallye rear towing eye cover for £120 on eBay!
-
I had my MK4 Anniversary wheels done there in chrome powdercoat. I could pick faults being a painter by trade but you get a very good job for the money.
-
Best shine i have seen is Wolfs Body Wrap. Must go over a prepped surface but the results are incredible. Being a nano coating it lasts over 12 months if maintained correctly. I use it on my MK4 Anniversary but dont have any pics but heres a thread from DW on a MK4 R32 http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=263522

Yeah I've seen them for around 10k. Yes it's the MK5 GTI Edition 30.
-
I'd go for the Edition 30 GTI. It's fitted with the K04 S3 engine. Easily see 300bhp with a remap and 350+ with fuel pump and exhaust. They come fully colour coded too unlike the standard GTI that has black textured lower sections all the way round.

I sold some NOS parcel shelf straps for £30 last year!
-
Very nice. I'd pop out the rubber fuel filler neck and clean all the crap that collects behind. Rust always starts there.
-
I fitted a Gruven one when I owned OSV and it was perfect.
