Erm when i first got my C i removed my number plate and hey presto the was 2 screws, just removed them and it came off.think som1 had drilled them though cos body work wasnt in best shape under it-bits of rust around the holes. so sorted that out and colour coded the panel. What u thinking of doing Struan? Cheers Fraser

LUPO means little wolf. JETTA im sure is a wind. The BEETLE is named so somit do with one of hitlers request that things should be taken from nature to design car. ie The BEETLE has perfect streamlined body shape. But yeah its the type 1 to begin with. Cheers Fraser

Yeah its Spanish derivative is to run/sprint.but its named after at ypre of wind same with most of the VWs all different types of winds.think the corrado is jet or jet stream or something like that.cant remember exactly. Cheers Fraser

Yeah ppl always ask about the car-mostly ppl older than me.Two guys at the cash and carry were checking it out when i walked up.one guy was mad about them said he always want one. Remember not long after i got the car it was sitting outside my mates house, his granddad drove up to drop his sis off.Granddad got out his car and walked around the back to see the badge on the back of mine-dont u just love it when they dont know what it is! Cheers Fraser -
Not really a problem-slight observation. On my 1.8 16v I feel that when i give the throttle a touch the revs take a while to drop back down to around 1k.how can this be adjusted? prefer if they dropped little quicker than wat they do. Cheers Fraser

Looking good mate. How much were the rims if you dont mind me asking-spotted them new for around £155each. do they rub at all?? How du find the supersports? Cheers Fraser -
Not sure how it works but heard that if u put in claim with pics location etc, that theyve got so many days to repair it. If they dont they have to cough up dosh for new tyre/wheels etc. When i drove doen to Middlesbrough to pic up my car i noticed the roads in England were miles better (pardon the pun) than roads up here in Scottyland. Cheers Fraser

Yeah once mine was fitted i noticed that there was a gap at the bottom-think eveyone has it-bit it only really shows up on light/bright cars as behind the grill is dark and the contrast stands out.might get somit put in behind it to hide the lugs bit better.car looks good with it mate. cheers Fraser -

The small pack u get with it was rubbish. The small self tappers were too short to go through both the grill and the plastic casing for the lights. And the other screws looked too long (dont even know what the other stuff was for). So i drilled 4 holes (2 either side) through the eyebrow bit of the grill and through the plastice casing of the lights, then went to halfords and bought red cable ties-Fits perfect! I was thinking of painting the eyebrow part red and the two lower slates gloss black-but OMG all red looks so good that im not even going to bother trying to put it into words! Its amazing how a grill can change the look of a car so much. Cheers Fraser
