  3. When your building up the oil pressure, remember to add a little throttle otherwise when you start the car up again, it may pop with all that fuel.
  4. Ouch, regarding the blown engine. At least the Turbo mani is holding up. Was your car running stock fuel pump?
  5. Yes adjustable top mounts is what im thinking too, will have to look into it. Yeah good spot, but seems ok on full lock

  7. Regarding cooling, i've been running my vr6 for a couple of months now, with a swtich on the speed 3 fan, total control in theses hot conditions, and would recommended it also.

  10. Tyres on just not on the car yet :tongue: Got some fresh Nexen's 205/40/16 W. Pretty thin tyres, should be feeling thoses bumps :lol: Interesting on the left, my standard 15" speedline with 205/50/15 And on the right, new wheels with 205/40/16 So i should be ok to deck it then :wink:

  16. Ok Finished and Lacquer'd up! No more spraying for me, i dont have the patience! You cant tell by the pics but there not sprayed that well. Or maybe you can LOL. Think theses will eventually turn into my track day wheels, and will get other set later on. Some pics against the Car to see how it fairs with the met. green. Ignore the 70's style pillow :lol: Comments Welcomed.

  18. Cheers fella! The paint is Ford Mecury Grey its an very nice light grey, but when you add clear lacquer it goes a tad darker. Yeah Normal rattle can stuff from Halfords. :wink:
  19. Right, some more pics :) 600 wet and grit. 2-3 coats of paint on the inside. Then went up to 800 grit. Then 1200 and started to lay a few coats down. Not the best at spraying but it will do. Will leave this to dry for a couple of days and then start the lacquer part! Will have to see how the colour matches the car, hmmm maybe when it stops raining probably.
  20. Good opportunity to fit a LSD, when doing the clutch/flywheel :wink: Glad you passed your MOT, Can be a right headache if it fails.
  21. I have recently got my tyres, Nexen 205/40/16 W should fit nicely on my 7 x 16's. Yeah there subaru fitment. Spot on was8v, I have 5mm spacers going on them, and i need to shave the center bore about 0.2mm. Thanks for letting me know. :thumb right:

  23. Cheers for all the comments, much appreciated. bit more progress, tyres removed. Horrendous amount of kerbing, on each wheel, took some pics. Be careful with this pic, not sure if its me, but it does my eyes in Some bad scratches, one for example Filling time. More pics hopefully during next week :)
